Another thing I found interesting the m11 shifter option ……..I never knew such a shifter existed floor mount no console. ……….the car still has the correct hole in the floor all looks factory , but shifter is long gone .
Here is a photo of one. https://www.camaros.net/threads/1968-rpo-m11-floor-shift-auto-w-o-center-console.479458/

Rare incorrect combination valve. Hood to cowl seal and starter brace delete options. Interesting stripe layout.

Nope. Names are meaningless. Paint codes tell the story. Lemans-WA3962. Mul and Vik-WA4069

My friend has our deceased friend's real 10/10 '69Z without the original motor. He's been offered good money for it with the wrong motor. Not for sale.

Missing the original engine and trannsmission as stated in the ad.
Looks like a solid car for the money. Pay a shop like mine to do body and paint. Now add the extras and you'd be above that price.

Where are you located? I'm always in need of a good body/paint shop.
Be best to PM me. Thanks.

Originality / Re: Center Link Inspection Markings?

The centerlink on a 67 I did for someone years ago was slathered nearly end to end with markings. I could not go that overboard with it so I dialed it back.

Read the assembly process. As far as primer and paint, whatever blew in there was it. Take enough of these apart and you see coverage was limited in that area. When shooting these or any car, it's a pain to get in there for full coverage and a nice uniform finish. I'm doing a 62 Merc for someone and the factory coverage is similar. But they hammered on the paint to a point of very thick sags and hangers off edges 1/4" long. Want to see factory runs just look at a Mopar.

I've used these people before the name change. Very helpful. Provided them with cores for their inventory. http://www.woodradios.com/index.htm

If it were me, I’d remove the power brake booster and master cylinder in order to have good access in order to separate the bulkhead connector and check/clean everything as needed.  You could easily have other terminal corrosion issues that need to be dealt with.

Richard
PB and MC do not need to be removed. I can reach in there and pull off the connectors. I'd also check all the wiring, including the feed at the juncion block behind the battery.

All the sleeves I've seen and owned were plastic and tapered on the ends. Joint heat welded together. I can maybe post a pic.

I've replaced the lower bearing with the upgraded one. Ground Up and others have it.

20 or so years ago in Ohio I looked at a 68 BB Rallye Green with black deluxe. Came with a 66 Chevelle BB motor. No paperwork, no tranny and not worth it to me. Decent car needing a resto. Seller figured I would not drive home with an empty trailer. Wrong.
