Originality / 67 washer bottle bolt finish

What is the correct finish on the 67 washer bottle bracket bolts? I have both silver and gold or are they gray phosphate? I am leaning towards silver.

Decoding/Numbers / 67 T400 Identification - need help

I have an 05E 67 build. What could have been the earliest trans. build date I could use?
The assembly date code for the 1967 model year starts with the first day ( Jan. 01) of the calender year 1966 and continues into the 1967 calendar year. Example you add 365 + 97=462= build date (67A  462 - Apr.07 1967). Is this correct so far?
Now comes the confusing part. If the 1968 T400 started production on Jan. 01 1967 then is it possible to have a 68A  97 - Apr.07 1967/1968 and both be correct for the same installation?
This to me does not sound correct, so they could not have started production build dates on Jan.1, unless they ended the previous years production at the end of Dec.
Now the kicker.  I have seen build dates in the 370's, so much for 365 days in a year.
What have I over looked?

Restoration / 67 BB Water Pump Repair Kit

Want to rebuild my 67 E87 BB water pump and I need a repair kit.The pump I have has been rebuilt before so I also need a 4 bolt hub.
Zip has a BB kit but it does not have the hub included in the kit.
Is the shaft size on the BB 5/8"and SB ? the same size?
Any help appreciated.

Did a search and did not find any pictures or info. on 67 rear defoggers. I assume that 68,69 units are the same but are the 67"s?
Does anyone have pictures of a 67 if they are different?
Looks like most of the pictures have been lost in the latest CRG problem.

Originality / First Gen. Holley Carb. Color?

I remember that first gen. Holley carbs were some shade of green with gold linkage. All the old carbs and parts I have are green.
Now I see restored first gen. carbs in different shades of gold.
Is gold cadium dichromate now accepted as the standard.
What is the correct color and does anyone do the correct first gen. Holley process?

Does the AIM pertain to Nor. or Nor. and Los. built units? Where was the AIM as a document composed? I have noticed that some of the hardware used in Los. built units is of a different supplier than Nor. Would there be differences in structural components?

Originality / 67 crossmember to subframe mounting hardware

Have done a search, but the question about the description of the original hardware was never completely answered.
The picture of an original bolt can no longer be opened.
So, can someone with an original 67, with original 67 hardware, be so kind as to give us a description of the bolts, washers, lock washers and nuts? I would like to have a description of original 67 hardware because 68,69 hardware may have changed. If you have 68,69 original hardware please give description so others with those years may benefit.

Did the lower AC shield shown in A.I.M. UPC C60 B4 (#3 396 shield) go into production? Tried a search but could not find info.
If it did, does anyone have a picture. I assume it was made of plastic.

Originality / 67 V32 rear bumper guard

Looking at UPC V32 A1. Does the cushion #2 have studs w/ stamped machined thread nuts #12?? Do the reproductions have the correct studs?
Anyone have a picture of #3(Screw & L. Washer ASM) and #4(Spl. Washer)? AMK shows #3 & 4 as 3/8-16 w/conical washer but I do not think that is correct.
Need substitution for #58 plastic seam cement # 3851970. What color was original plastic cement?

Originality / 67 headlight switch w /U17 console instruments

Does anyone know why there are 2 67 headlight switches. Std.1995147 and 1995149 w/U17. Does the 149 have a higher rated light dimmer for the console ? See VPC 12 B6 and revision 4.

Need to know the 1st revision date on K30 A2 #1, looks like 5 ? 67. This will answer some questions about my 5E build.
