Originality / 67 Wiper Motor to Firewall Gasket Color

What color is the 67 wiper motor to firewall gasket supposed to be? I thought it was supposed to be black but I have ordered from Rick's and Heartbeat City and both are gray.
Heartbeat City shows the gasket to black but I guess they can not distinguish gray from black.
So, what is the correct color?

What type of original fastener 9419842 was used on bumper guard insert? Are the ones that AMK show correct?

Originality / 67 T400 Transmission Mount

The T400 mount was changed from 3872247 to 3895831 sometime between Jan. 67 and end of production. Reference 69 P&A, REV. 10-1-69, Gr. 4.081. Only reference in 67 AIM is for non BB T400 mounts.
Anyone know when this may have happened?
I am venturing a guess that the 2nd design 3895831 would be correct for my 67 05E build.

Originality / Part numbers for 67 front and rear glass reveal clips

My 69 P&A only goes up to group 9.777 and have tried searches.  Does anyone have the GM part numbers for the front and rear glass reveal molding clips.
I want to order the clips from W&E Sales CO but they require a part number. They have many to choose from with no sizes given.

Restoration / Black Paint on Chrome Parts

Have several parts that have been re-chromed and was wondering how the black was applied on factory parts. Looking at the factory pieces there does not seem to be any primer used to promote adhesion but the factory black was perfect after +40 years. You can look in the corners where the paint is thin and there is no signs of chipping or lifting.
I have researched this topic and really do not like the idea of sanding with 600 grit and using etching primer especially on the 67 tail light housings. I spent allot of money to chrome the housings and not destroy the rough definition only to destroy it with primer and paint.
Anyone know how the factory paint was applied and what paint, Sims, Worth, Rustoleum 7777, (?) could be used to get the closest to original?
I am leaning towards a thin slow drying enamel with the possibility of heat to help drying. Something along the lines of the original body painting process.

Originality / Deltronic Transistor-Controlled Magnetic Pulse amp. plate 3916730

Anyone know the difference between OTC amp. plate 3916730 and the plate 3954206 used with the ZL1's? I am talking about the plate that was mounded on the vertical grill support in front of the radiator.

Trying to solve SB dipstick color and part # identification problem.

Can anyone with 67 or 68 P&A verify that 7803779 is the correct tilt column  with floor shift for 67.
Do not understand what 67 AIM N33 A1 revision 9 is implying (usage revised).

Originality / Original 67 4 Way 552 and Turn 323 Flashers - 1381303 round & 3836338 square

I am looking for information on 67 year flashers as 68 and 69 had different flashers.
Have done searches here and on TC but very, very little info. on flashers.
When did the DOT script first start on the flashers?
Who were the major suppliers? I found Tung Sol and Wagner (?) but Tung Sol seems to be the most widely used.
Most widely used flasher is the round rather than the square type.
What was the reason for optional flashers? Was the RS option Z22 one of the reasons?
Anyone have pictures of original flashers?

Originality / Original 67 Plastic Cowl Plug Markings 4874119

Made allot of search inquiries but can not find anything on the markings on the 1/2" plastic cowl plugs used in 67.
Found plugs on eBay but they look like service replacements and do not look correct.
Anyone have a picture?

The searches I have done indicate that the ones form AMK are not correct.

Restoration / 68 AIM Cowl Panel Hole Piercing

Could someone with a 68 Assembly Manual reprint that has white paper pages please scan page 0 A 8.5 and Email it to me?
I have a 68 AIM but it has the off white color paper and can not use it for a 67 firewall piercing project I am working on. I sure hate to spend $40.00 on another reprint for just one page.
Help greatly appreciated.

Originality / 67 Battery cables 67 V8 with AC

Have done searches in 67 AIM and 69 P&A and can not come up with the correct numbers for the neg. and pos. battery cables.
The numbers I have are 67 AIM 12 A5.5 +6290591, C60 E2 -2987212 and 69 P&A 2.342 +6296701 51", 2.341 -2987294 24".
Have done searches on this site but most info is on 69's.
Need to get pointed in the right direction.
