I figured that he was talking about 69's. Did 67-8's come with curved necks? I didn't think so due to the AC mounting.

Curved necks were on Big block AC equipped cars as a heavy duty 4 core unit. the curved neck cleared the AC compressor mounted on that side of engine. Copo cars used the same radiator so the factory didn't have to build a different one just for copos

Where does the speedo cable come out of the firewall? If it comes out under the fuse box area it is a lower performance model like a 307/200hp Higher performance model muncies, come out to the side of the throttle lever (Left side looking at the firewall, right side of the car)

factory pumps are white. If you want a black one (service replacement) Anco still makes the whole assembly part number 61-02 for about 40 bucks.

Could the car been equipped with a doughnut tire and asked the dealership to install a full spare?

the 4 inner protrusions were made from the spot welder that welded the inner cup to the pulley. If the spot welder is set deep you will not have the 4 dimples sticking up inside the cup. I have an original that only has 1 dimple. it is right at the weld.

Good info to know. Would you have measurements? I did not notice when I had mine out. Side by side would be noticeable.

Good job Bentley!

Amazing car! Love to see as many pics as you will post. I never get tired of the original cars that are virtually  untouched!

Did you wrap Teflon tape around the sender? That blocks the ground path from the sender. It was the first thing I would check. Also check the grounds to the dash. Seems like a very common issue.

"Darrell Cook
Just a couple old Camaros.

Do you have a 68 L78 Camaro?  If so, message me as I'd like to add it to my registry."

Sparky1.613, Darrell was not asking you a question about your camaro. That is a part of his "signature". There is a line separating his post and his signature.  It is an open question to all that read, it in hopes to find out more info about 68 L78's if someone knows about them
