Gardner's exhaust makes a complete set of concours exhaust hangers, but I don't know if they sell piece parts. May have to purchase the whole set, which is spot on I might add.

Yes that was my Red 67z that you pictured. Sorry I didn't get to meet you at the show. I had a great time, weather was perfect and met several people who had some history on the car. One actually put me in contact with the salesman who originally ordered the car. Original owner passed away several years ago, but second owner is still out there and we are trying to track him down. That kind of stuff makes the hobby cool to me. I hope to go to Gettysburg in the spring.  Maybe we can catch up there.  ned

Congrats Billy,
I know exactly what you went through at Hershey. I was in the same position last year at Hershey with my 67 Z/28. Read some things, but didn't really know what to expect. I did receive a first junior as you did, and went for the senior at this years Spring Meet . I was back at Hershey for my first preservation this Fall. Glad you were there this year as Camaros need to be represented at the AACA. You have to admit though, Their judging is noithing like the Camaro Nationals. Now those guys are tough!  Ned

Maintenance / Re: Locking Fr. disc brakes 69 Camaro

Also check the length of the rod between booster and master cylinder. The master cylinder should seat on the booster without having to push it down. If that is not the case, the rod may have to be shortened some, otherwise the brake master cylinder will not retract fully and the master cylinder will keep pressure on the brakes. When a booster diaphram is replaced, there may be a slight variation in the seat where the rod is inserted causing this situation.

Since we are discussing dipsticks, what is correct for a 67Z?  Bill

another note. the mounting bracket for the 67 lamp is different than what is currently available. It only has one screw holding it to the hood    Bill

Thanks John. That seemed like the logical answer, but I wanted to make sure.   Bill

Reguarding the 15 inch tire issue. I have a 67 Z with 4:56 and it does have the transmission speedometer adapter.

Do the french locks on 67 exhaust manifolds go between the washer and bolt head or between the manifold and washer? Seems loke an elementry question, but it does make a difference  Thanks

On the original petcock on 67 camaros did the ear openings face towards the engine or towards the radiator? If I have it straight the repops are opposite of the original. Thanks  Bill
