Hi guys,
FYI, a quality truck stop/shop will be able to install these rivets as that is a common service item to them.

Seems to be from a Chevelle, Camaro 327's were either 210 HP 2V  or 275 HP 4V.

Rocker panel blacked out was part of the RS option in '68 (67 RS cars used chrome molding)
Tail panel black out indicated 396 engine.

  Keep safe,

Hi Guys.
FWIW. I have a P7C297 with (w/ 7L159206 stamped 3 x on top) and it has  very similar black  X on the tail shaft housing under where the shifter would mount.
           I do have pictures.

Luttys Chevy Warehouse carries cowl tag rivets. I can not attest to the correctness and have not used them.
What are the correct dies/stamps to be used when installing these rivets ?

Don't forget Power assist DRUM brakes, and MANUAL disc systems .

Yes, it is. and I am good with that. I was/am not not into cars for profit, so maybe affordability will return.
Times change, as the small block wiped out the flathead the LS is wiping out the small block. that's just the way it is.
I'm not ever going to replace original motors but I see a LS (Orange with factory valve covers and air cleaner with a two plane manifold and a F.I. Tech fuel injection)
in my engine bay in the future. The car now has a 72 truck block anyway, wrong is wrong.

       My two cents

Hi guys,
So the August trim tagged Camaros (like 08E) were counted as September built cars?
Not completed, or easier to count perhaps?

08E LA built with 749 interior and a smooth black ash tray.
I do not recall seen a original textured tray in a 68.

Seems the 1969 Ford copied the 1967 Chevrolet.....

I have a copy of the "BILL THOMAS 396 performance handbook"

 A/C condenser ?

Also check the simple things if you have not already, loose battery, loose spare, ect..
  Good luck,

 Hi guys,
I will be installing All electrical pieces soon, I am looking for any heads up regarding situations I may encounter. It seems to be heads up installation and not anticipating too much trouble
but will be happy to listen to any tips.
The car is a early 1967 RS/SS-350 convertible  (I know, a bunch have popped up here lately) with power top, A/C, and electric windows. The dog house is not yet mounted as I plan to wire that
while I  have unfettered access, nor is the dash pad installed. All the wiring accessories are from M&H.

    Thank you,
