Good looking car. Cowl tag rivets look kinda funky to me. You might see if Kurt or Jerry may chime in on this.

The truth lies beneath the head gasket. If it is indeed original there would be traces of the OEM head gasket. Looks like it's been polished to me.

I just wish Chevrolet or GM would release info on these cars (if they still have it) to prevent this type of rampant fraud. Something like the Pontiac PHS.  :(

No problem. I wish I could find my original block, or just any history on my 69 Z/28.

Thanks again

What does M&M mean?

Maybe those casting numbers are GM? I don't know myself. As for the Chevrolet
symbol, I thought that was odd as well. That's why I posted the pictures I thought
that someone may know if the casting number is GM and if GM included the symbol
in the casting process.

I have an original DZ block that came from Columbus OH area. It's possible that this car is still located in Ross County Chillicothe Ohio area according to the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles VIN search. Will only sell to the verified owner of the correct car.
This is the same DZ Block in the Camaros.net ad
Thanks

Just had CHP rebuilt my proportioning valve and replate my caliper brackets and they looked great.

I found the same thing on my 69 Z. Looked like a light bulb socket with a printed circuit board built into the bottom of it. So it does not use a bulb correct?

I've never seen the casting numbers and emblem like that. That's wild
