Just wondering if some of the CRG members were planning on going to the Chicago Vette fest show this weekend. I'll be there Saturday. Can wait to see the 69 Z/28 and the Nova gathering.

It can also indicate non-normative combos such as a 71-71 Z/28 with black stripes where white would have been the norm.

I have a friend that ordered a car just like you stated in 69. It was - - on the trim tag also.

I know. ,,,When I first looked at it the thread it had 3 pages. I've been looking at the updates as it goes along. Now 33,000 views, 414 replys, and 28 pages later it still growing. It also has some amazing pictures documenting the car.

Truly an amazing find that has been untouched since 1980 I believe Dennis said .

Restoration / 69 Z/28 shock plate ..U bolts or T bolts or both?

I was wondering what people have on there cars as far as mounting the rear shock plates. My car came with a U bolt and the T bolts for each side. Is this correct?

What I'm calling the flange is the flat steel part a one end of the bushing. I'll try to attach a picture.

I am going to install the front leaf spring eye bushings on my car and was wondering if the flange goes toward the outside or inside of the car? Also, should you bottom the flange out or just center the bushings in the spring? The ones I removed were not bottomed out on the spring. Any help on this will be appreciated.
