Very nice!  Good color pic, it's gonna really pop outdoors in the sun.  Lots of good info in the video.  Thanks for sharing.

Only 350 for Gen 1 Camaro SS was 295 HP '67 & '68, 300 HP '69.
34  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: 69 Quarter Louver Fit on: October 12, 2011, 09:08:48 PM
OK, I just went back and took another look at mine.  Not that it's perfect but eyeballing it looks most important to match the curve with the wheel well.  That being done my louvers look like the top and bottom are pretty much horizontal and parallel.  Again, that's just eyeballing them on the car, no measuring, but the ones pictured above look like the top & bottom are less parallel than mine. ??
35  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Whats better, trailer queens or street machines? on: October 11, 2011, 10:05:43 PM
Got to admit I drive mine only if the weather is nice.  Every once in a while I still help em stripe the road around here but my backside does pucker a little more than it used to as it's a born-with and (99% sure) non-rebuilt motor!  Stupid does = FUN!

I'm glad we get to appreciate all of them...from the beaters to the queens!

No...but just make sure the curve on the louver matches the curve of the wheel well and the tops & bottoms are horizontal or it won't look right!

Beautiful car.  First thing I noticed on the Home Page!

Yes, the mirror is wrong, but the car & color are downright righteous!

My '69 L-48 came with the metal tube as shown in Marty's reply #4 with the red arrows.  Definitely original.  Back in 1978 I owned a 70 SS-350 (L48) and it had the exact same setup. Maybe a Norwood thing since both of my cars came from there?

I don't know about that Marty...your car is just gorgeous!  Great color combo, looks super clean.
Thanks for the pic.  IMO still not much out there that can compete looks wise with a 1st Gen Camaro.
Lines are just classic!

Thanks Capt. appreciate the complement.  IMO I don't think I've seen a Camaro that wasn't at least pretty!  By the way, those pics were taken in downtown St. Petersburg
on the same road they run the Grand Prix races on.  In fact, barriers and tires are starting to line the streets.  I'm pumped there will be a Gen 5 Camaro team in town.  Should be a real good time...weather has been perfect lately!

Site's GREAT as is.  I've owned Gen's 1,2,3, & 5 over the last 35 years and enjoy reading a lot of posts...just reluctant to reply unless I was totally sure of an answer (almost never).  I'm grateful for all the great information and I don't care what you call me as long as it's not too bad!
