5  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Restoration / 67 console wiring harness ? on: December 22, 2010, 08:20:52 PM
Hi guys I am installing a new console wiring harness in my 67 camaro, (It is a 4 speed console with gauges)
the new harness has a plastic mounting peg on the harness connector, I am unsure which hole to install it into,is it under the console somewhere or up by the heater ? also does the ground wire get screwed to the floor under the carpet ? I did look in the aim but I didn't see it .
thanks

7  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Restoration / 1967 SS exhaust ? on: July 07, 2010, 08:36:13 PM
Hello, I'm thinking about a new exhaust system for my 67 camaro, I want it as original as I can get it, It is a 67 camaro ss/rs 396 (3L 4N) (O2C) Built in Feb of 67 in Van Nuys Cal. the original system was gone when I got this car in 83
would this car have resonatores (2) and the transverse muffler (1)by the fuel tank ? or just the Muffler ?
what cars got what muffler combo?

thanks for the info

10  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Restoration / hurst shifter problem on: March 28, 2010, 06:51:55 PM
Hi guys, having shifter problem, muncie M20 in 67 camaro, Hurst comp plus shifter. It used to have a spring action when putting it into reverse
(I assume it is a reverse lock out), now you can move the shifter freely( side to side in neutral) from reverse to 3rd and 4th with no resistance.
Is there a spring that has broken or does the shifter need rebuilt? I have adjusted the rods several times no help.
thanks for any help

12  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Restoration / 67 BB z bar ? on: November 24, 2009, 11:33:23 PM
Hi guys, I am restoring a 67 ss/rs 396 4 speed. Having trouble with my clutch rod,( the one that goes from the zbar to the pedal) where the rod goes thru the firewall it seems to high in the hole almost to the top wearing out the clutch rod rubber boot. How can I tell if I have a SB z-bar or a BB one , should the rod be centered in the firewall hole ?

thanks for any help

15  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / 67 vinal top ? on: March 29, 2009, 10:42:21 PM
Hello, my question is this, the vinal top retaining strips (plastic strips that get pushed into the rain gutter to hold in the edges of the vinal top in and get clipped in by the rain gutter moulding  )
Did they come in clear only or did the black tops get black ones ? I have only seen clear one for sale on E-bay but I seem to remember my car having black ones .is there a source for them now ? seems most vinal top installers in my area dont seem to know much about them and dont use them now.
thanks for any help.
