IMO, Muscle car is a complete intimidating package, drivetrain must include big motor, Muncie/400 and big posi rear. Cant see any "muscle car" on one leg as being intimidating. Why would anybody not check off posi when ordering?

I had a 4 series a while back that was just stamped 8
Honestly unless you have a COPO car, who cares about the date? It’s not going to be judged or checked unless it needs to be verified as a 4 series with correct COPO internals, which are different than regular posi internals. Now having correctly dated gears (and housing) IS important in my mind. Just my 2 cents.
It’s ok to be mindful of the numbers, just don’t fall over the edge to OCD.

They will provide you with a Vehicle History Report that shows, besides basic vehicle data, the number of times and dates that the vehicle was registered in Quebec. Because of privacy laws, it no longer shows individual owner's names, however it will show commercial owner's names. It costs $12.25 Canadian dollars and has a three week turnaround time. You can fill out the form on-screen then print it out and mail it. On another note, do you have the dealer name plate? If you do, could you post a photo. I would love to see it. I grew up about three blocks from Park Avenue Chevrolet and spent countless hours there checking out the new cars. Joe.How far back does the report go?

Stamping on right tube is assembly of Diff. Was looking for assembly date of posi carrier which is located on flange that ring gear is bolted to.
