They'd have to be done by Bubba - I've been building engines for 40 years, and during 38 years in Manufacturing with GM and Chrysler, I've never seen one single warranty claim where a pressed pin moved and gouged a cylinder wall.
[/quote]  I have.I've used C-clips since the 70s with zero failures, As long as they are positioned correctly and not over stressed during install.

Pressed pins are fine but if there not fit properly they too can wander out.

Thanks,Steve for the reply. The throttle arm and wire harness are still in the car from the factory. All the other pieces are gone.Iv'e been asking around for the original pieces with no luck.I fear if I do locate the parts there likley to be pricy. So repro my be my only option for now.Are the repro.pieces obvious once installed?

Hey,Steve. You are still alive. Why don't you come over and take a look?I was wrong when I said both ends were cut.I found the outer harness rapped up behind the brake booster.Pink wire, tan wire with a rubber boot on the end.Anyone know what its for?Its not oil pressure or coolant temp those are both accounted for.

I checked car and the two wire colors are pink and light brown and the grommet is just above the fuse box.If they are not ZL2 wires what are they for?

I have a hole above the fuse block with a 2 wire w/grommet.Both ends of the wires were cut. What are the ZL2 wire colors? The car came to me with the ZL2 hood but none of the other pieces.I guess you all know what I'm hoping.
