How would a car be judged if it had the correct 1968 cowl plenum and had the original exhaust manifolds with plugs in the smog holes? Second question is my car came with CP in backseat when I got it years back but the pop with the  car does not denote the CP anywhere on pop

Is that 67 smog tube still available?I would use that instead of cutting up and rewelding a 68 tube

Well put Jerry,I guess I will try and route the hose on a 90 degree angle. I may take an old smog tube and cut the 90 degree tube from it and re-weld it to a tube that I have removed the straight up tube from. It will not be factory correct but that way   I will have a original CP set-up with original smog tube modified. I can tig weld at home,it will give me a project for a while. Thanks Jerry

Yes it is hard to believe that the indent is on the cp which to me would mean it was meant to work with the smog.

Would the nova part cause deductions on a judging sheet?

Does a 1968 Z28 cowl plenum base have one or two crank case vent hose attachments or just one like on the open element breathers

Were the smog tubes on a cowl plenum car the same as the smog tubes used on a open breather car?

Thanks for the idea. The car was from California so I will try that first. Border office seems to be no help at this point.Apparantly the car is fine to drive in Canada but I could not take it across the border or sell it to an american .

I have a 68 camaro that was brought up from the states into Canada 7 years ago.I found out the fellow that brought the car into Canada did not have all the export paperwork done. I have the car in my name but the problem is the original title was never with the car just a photocopy. Customs says without the original title from 1968 the export papers cannot be processed. Any thoughts.
