Does anyone sell the original style 1968 front spoiler. Most cars have  a 1969 style. Thanks

Maintenance / 68 Z28 starter problem

I tried to start my 68 Z today and the starter would not kick in and  turn engine. I pulled the starter and put cables on it and it worked good on the work bench. I put it back in the car turned the key and still just had a humm or buzz from under the hood.Any ideas? Thanks

I am getting ready to paint a 1968 Z28 from the LOS plant. My question is did the LOS cars have the stripes painted so that white overspray got down through the wiper cowl panel or were the cowls taken off the bodies and sprayed ? I have seem NOR cars that have the overspray on that area but not sure on the LOS cars.

I am wondering if anyone has an idea of what serial numbers were on 1969 camaros between 02E and 05A . I have seen a breakdown for 68 cars but can not locate the list for 69 cars. Thanks Paul

My Holley 4053 is dated 705 on my 68 z. Does this seem to far away as far as date for a 02E car from California like my car is. It seems the other pieces to the car are dated a lot closer to the build of the car.

How much end play should a 1111266 dist.have? Mine has about  .015 end play and before I install it I would like to know if this is an ok tolerance.

Does anyone know how much antifreeze and water are needed to fill a 1968 z28 rad and engine block from empty. I was not sure of the  mixture ratio. Thanks

Can anyone tell me if the 67 distributor had a GM logo on them? I had a guy call me and he said he looked at one with the GM logo on it,where I do not know but will find out. I will get more info and try to get the numbers off it. Thanks

Were the screws that hold the windshield cowl in place the same screws that hold the windshield nozzles in place?  Are they a 1/4 inch cad screw?

When the engines were built at Flint before shipping was the Dist,intake,carb ,alternator and other engine accessories all on the motor or were these items added at the LA and Norwood plants Thanks

Originality / POP plate

I bought a 1968 6 cylinder car this week for a driver so my 68 Z can sit a little more with the current gas situation.My question is the POP plate for the car was under the seat but has a lot of rust on the plate itself,what is the best way to clean this rust off as not to damage the booklet. The metal plate is hard to make out because of the rust. Thanks Paul
