im also looking at this one. http://delaware.craigslist.org/cto/5789894977.html

Description does not give much information, and I am not sure which car in the pics is the one for sale.  Or if the pic is even of the car for sale.  I would try to find out more, then go inspect it if it sounds reasonable.  Bring someone with you, because it is always good to have another set of eyes looking at things.

Maybe $300 or less would be a better price then, for the original post of the CL ad.

Still going? I don't think I would.

I agree with Kurt. I have heard of cars shipped in primer, but have never seen a Camaro like that.

And I guess part of you earlier post was not answered. The Saginaw M20 is not a high performance unit, and it does have limited strength. But if you are looking to keep the car numbers matching/original, then just don't abuse it. It would be OK for a stock L30 if not abused.

The Muncie M20 is a tougher transmission, but if abused, it will break too.

Right.

Jody Haag - Jodys Transmissions.

Crash - Eric Davidson - Crash Enterprises.

Either one should be able to help you.

I would check with Jody on the Team Camaro site. Let me see if I can find his information.

I sent him a PM. Will send you a PM with his information. Crash may also work in Saginaws too, not sure.

My recommendation, if you or your friend are interested in the car, would be to look at it closely in person. Then have Jerry M. or someone else do a paid inspection on it. If the price is still around $115k, I think you could get 2 very nice cars for that kind of money.

Seems to have sold for $115,000 at Mecum in Dallas September of 2013.

Cross ram and headers not available from the factory in 1969.

I don't know anything specific about that car.  What is the VIN?
