We will have to see if any 67s TH400s with partial VINs show up.

I tend to agree. I am not sure I would want to deal with having that fixed. Unless I owned the car...

Does have a VIN?  What is it?

What is the evidence?

Can you post pics?

Are the original engine, transmission or rear axle with the car?

Some of the charts are embedded into the html code and can not be saved off easily.

As long as you are not copying them for use on another article or webpage, that’s fine. But you aren’t really gaining a lot. You can just bookmark the site and refer back to it with your phone browser. We are already hosting the files.

We do have this link describing how the information may be used.

Warren, the Impala guru says he doesn’t think ANY TH400s were stamped with a partial in 67 (at any plant). I think inagree with him.

The earliest pic I have of a TH400 partial, is on a 68 LOS car assembled October of 67.

No partial that I could find. At least not in the normal location. But date is perfect for the car.

Found out the transmission is the original one for the car.  It had the later design TH400 pan not like the one used early. I think the changeover was in late June.

Cross member and driveshaft are original too.

It is cool. No doubt.

But just about every multiple carb system I have had to deal with was really a PITA most of the time.  Except one 2 x 4 setup on a 460 Ford in a jet boat.  That thing was plain old nasty.

Dyno results on a cross ram on a 302 Jerry tested didn’t show much improvement over a well tuned single Holley 4 barrel.

What is the VIN on the engine?  Would be nice to see if we can reunite it with the car it came from originally.

The tri-power and dual carb setups, even back to the late 50s and early 60s were never street friendly.

Generally if more cfm is needed, it’s just best to go to a larger 4 barrel.

If you are looking for a 100 percent correct show quality subframe, not for you.

For someone that wants a subframe to put under a car to be functional and have disc brakes, well there you go.

I agree, make copies and laminate the copies. Store the originals in a fire safe or another secure location.
