Pics for April/May 2018 have been posted.

The 67 and 69 pics are repeats, from 2004.

If you sent Kurt pics originally, then you should have those, right?

I am not saying one way or the other at this point.

Don’t fall into the trap of “this or that type of font was never used” if everything else looks right.  Every aspect and detail of a stamping needs to be looked at and evaluated.

That’s not typically stuff we discuss in an open forum.

Why would they run a wire brush over the decks? You told them the numbers were important, right?

Agreed. Need a better pic. If you are using an older digital camera, select the macro button. It is the button that looks like a flower.

Wipe it down with lacquer thinner too.

Yes resolution isn’t the greatest. Images can be up to 200 KB.

It’s not a Z28.

No problem Tim.  It looks like my post was only a few minutes before yours.

There is no trans. I will have the vin # in about a hour or so. Did any 67 Camaros have multi leaf springs ?

No. See this link.

NOT a Z28.

What is the partial VIN on the Muncie? It’s either on the side or on the top of the main case.

How does the axle date compare to the tag (axle stamped info is on the front edge of the passenger side axle tube).

Isn’t Chicks car a 68 Z28?

There are are some known exceptions to that change. Outliers...

How did we change topics from a 67 302 to a 69?

Can you send me a pic on the stamped information on the pad of the block or have you posted it in another thread?

In addition to casting numbers being different for Chevelle, they had the 2 mounts for a 4 link type setup on the cast center section.

Some Impala axles in I think the later half of the 67 model year used the 3894860 casting number. Tube ends were different, all mounts were different and stamped codes were different.

Best way to figure out if one is legitimate is to get a pic of the letters and numbers stamped on the passenger side axle tube. Post it and we can verify if it’s legitimate.

Dang. I know what you mean though. A lot of stuff got thrown out after people got tired of storing it. Years ago we threw out lots of heads, water pumps, etc.

I wouldn’t worry too much about making it look exactly correct. The next owner may or may not want it to look 100% correct.

We will have to see if any 67s TH400s with partial VINs show up.
