Car will rev in neutral without issue.

I had a problem like this on a quadrajet car, turnout to be missing that darn thin metal separator gasket.

Check the vacuum values?

Might NOT apply to your Holley situ

Well the Photo of the Black RS/Z survivor is consistent with the New Car test HOT ROD magazine car,  in that the "Hook" certainly seems darker.
Cropped photo attached.

From Jerry's Book:
Hood hinges grey or black phosphate
Hood latch assembley grey or black phosphate

What does the New Judging Guideline book suggest?

General Discussion / Re: Looking for advice

(My Opinion:) No if your future is a "sale", It would be best to keep your Sunk costs as low as possible. However the nitty gritty details of this Factory installed drivetrain portions would be best preserved and included for the next restorer to 'deal with' while (the Parts) being used to conclusively document the car and thus maximize your potential gains.

i.e. Say you get the work done and someone decks the block and removed important supporting data points.
i.e. Say you get the work done do you really realize Dollar for Dollar of expense.

Welcome to the Site.

As always we are F-body Car "FOAMERS" & enjoy even just photos of your long term vehicle.

I am installing them on a 68.
I have a friend (& CRG-Member) that was interested in the same question. He consulted a crg core member whom indicated that even use of these on a 69 would require removal or major linkage Mods.

Kustom Repop version from Colorado; (KH37)

I am not sure "IF" they have some still avail or had to mfr. another batch of these.
