I finally got the tripower installed on my L78 last night. Since I had already run it on the test stand motor it went fine. I did the old blue tape on the valve covers for distributer timing and bolted everything on and it fired up and ran great with only an idle adjustment. The L78 throttle linkage is a little to long and the coil bracket would only take one bolt but everything else fit fine. The PCV and air cleaner grommets switched sides and worked fine. Hood clearance is fine and all hoses reconnected perfectly. It all looks factory. If it stops raining here road test is next. The L78 parts are shelf art for now.

Finally checked my 08E car. All glass has IV except the passenger door glass TV 10. Front and rear not original. All are Soft Ray LOF. I think Austin,s car is the same.

I have seen headers with the fittings. Don,t  recall them looking exactly like that. Long time ago,probably the 70,s.

If I remember correctly TV10 was passenger side rear glass I think. I wrote it down but it is at my home shop.

One of Hemmings mags had a really extensive Qjet id article a couple months ago.. You might google it or I could look tonight. It explained all the numbers in detail.

I have contacted Ebay and they said they will contact the seller. If no resolve they say they will open the dispute after 3 days so I guess I have done what can be done for now. I hope they reach him and get him to ship it.

I used the Mr. Gasket oval port gaskets on the rectangle port heads to test. They worked fine. If I was going to drive it I would make a metal plate the same type as the heat riser block off plate supplied with gaskets to go over each pair of ports. This set took me a couple hours to debug and tune also but ran very good after that. The felpro or any gasket that matches the ports will not work.

The seller never shipped or listed as shipped. He started by saying he was out of town and would ship it when he returned then got stuck out of town. Then apologized and offered a refund but said he could ship it and I said ship it. Then no answers to anything. His phone voicemail says full and no email. Most not on ebay com after the purchase. Thanks for the advise guys.
