Originality / Re: Firestone or Goodyear F70-14 tires
« on: April 08, 2007, 12:35:49 AM »
We have 11 NOS 7.35 x 15" Good Year red line Power cushions, all non-DOT and none of them are dry rotted.  All are in mint shape.

Very hard tire to find!

JM

Are those style tires being repo'd yet? I would like to get a set for my 67.

Does it have any drivetrain left? Engine, trans or rear end?

Nice job Mark. Nice fake 03E Z10 tag that made it's way to a body of another car.

Do you have a picture of the stamping? Paul is correct, it shouldnt have a C after the date.

Well I got it today and it's the real deal. The wire that goes to the coil is cut as seen in the picture.
It is also missing the vacuum advance.

Jerry

Do you have any earlier 266 distributors for an 05D 67z?
How much to send this one out to you for a rebuild and correct parts?

The tailpipe hanger is bolted to the bracket in this pic of the drivers side frame rail.
It is the bracket to the right of the shock

I made an offer on it and wanted to make sure it was good. Too late for my car, but I'll use it until I find or trade for one that works for me.
Thanks for the info, I appreciate it.

General Discussion / Re: How Much Do You Drive?
« on: April 01, 2007, 01:58:26 AM »
My 67 is just a roller, so I voted in boxes for that one and my 69 is 99% done, but I havent driven it on the road since 1987. I have an oil leak that I cant figure out on the rear of the block where the oil guage line goes into the block. Maybe tomorrow I'll get it fixed.

So I take it that this X bulkhead only pertains to NOR cars and not on LOS cars. Correct?

General Discussion / Re: Steel Wheels/SS hubcaps
« on: March 25, 2007, 03:56:20 PM »
Standard 69 SS wheels were 14x7 XT wheels.

IF coded wheels are 14x7 steel wheels also found on early 69 LA cars as documented on my Broadcast sheet.

Never seen a transmission stamped more than once (except for maybe an overstrike).

My 67 Muncie from LA Plant is stamped 3 times with the VIN
