Chinese Repop Brake Booster!
Love the saggy material on the headrests. Seats are totally messed up with wrong covers on them.

So much wrong here

I beleive that tag has been off the car and is one of the newer repop tags.

Would love to see the drive train stampings on this one.

Research Topics & Reports / Re: Fuel Pump Research

Goathill no longer has the parts to rebuild them & at last conversation he doesn't know where, when or if he will have the parts. I orders a 40524 pump from him in Feb 2021. Still don't have it. He did cash my check in March of 2021
Fred is a little back logged also as he is taking care of family which always comes 1st. Fred has 2 of my 40524s...Joe

GoatHill is a real LOSER. He took me and many others. He only takes checks and cashes them and doesnt send you anything because he doesnt have it!! Then gives you a run around and some BS excuses. Dont deal with this guy! BAD NEWS!!

The engine pad stamping has been restamped for sure
The partial VIN in the rough casting has definately been restamped also. You can make out some of the original numbers.
Alternator is a restamp also
Rear axle stamping B? 1206 G2 the second digit looks altered and doubtful this Dec 6th rear came in the car from factory.
Not a $91K car IMO.

I disagree. There are alot of ways to tell if it was an original RS. Original piercings in the front fender wells and cowl. Trunk backup light wiring piercing. Take reverse lights out and see if its stamped metal and not cut. Just to name a few

Yes its possible. That VIN and body number fits perfect with 09D of 1968. Its an early car.

Surely does not look like a repop tag to me and I have other known real 10-10 04C tags to compare to.   Not to say it hasnt been off the car.

Originality / Re: 1969 tail light bulbs

Good info for non RS cars. RS took 2 #1157's per side (one inner and one outer) #1156 backup down below bumper.

On the Silver car
Also has a restamped alternator amongst all the other issues. The BU rear is evidence but not enough to confirm.

On the black car 124379N543653 That thing has alot of issues. BUT Jerry says - All indications are this vehicle was either an L48 SS350 or Z28 Camaro when it was delivered new. The tail pipe adapter plate on the left side rear frame rail and the Muncie speedometer hole in the firewall led me to this conclusion.

In the report he doesnt certify it as anything conclusive, but the certificate of authenticity says 1969 Camaro RPO Z28. Not sure why as that is very misleading.

Nice looking car. No pics of stampings. Tag looks okay. Looks like its had an extensive restoration. I would want to see all the driveline and component stampings before I bid on it.
Has a chinese repop brake booster. Master isnt right either. Lots of resto catalog parts used.
Could turn out to be a decent car but who knows unless you inspect it in person.
