General Discussion / Re: 1969 Starter Motor Numbers
« on: October 01, 2007, 06:37:05 PM »
Jerry

There was a dealer Service bulletin for Hard Hot Cranking dated Dec 1968. It has starter numbers listed for 350/300hp engines in it.
I will attach the buletin. I see it says Passenger cars, but I would think this applies to Camaros.

General Discussion / Re: damaged cowl tag

I think its good that they dont charge for those info packets becuase there really isnt alot new info or special info that they send you. Most of that stuff they send is already covered in books and brouchures. I was actually disappointed when I got mine. Just a bunch of photocopied papers, so dont get too excited.

GM of Canada is another story. IF the car was shipped to Canada, then you can get some pertinent info on your particular car.

General Discussion / Re: Build sheet on gas tank
« on: September 29, 2007, 06:20:20 PM »
Gas tank sheet are a LOS thing. If you have a NOR car, it wont be there.
I found mine on the drivers side front corner. If you look through the wheel well you can see the top of the tank. You can see it better if you loosen the bolts on the tanks straps and lower it a bit. Shine a flashlight in there and see if you see anyhting.

I have had several set rebuilt at The Horn Works. Gary is a great guy.
These rebuilt horns come back and will blow the wig off an old lady! Man are they nice and loud.
