Thanks you Paul!. What do you think about the transmission? Has it some value? Is it a real Muncie?

You're welcome.  The casting number (3925660) in your photo is that of a Muncie.  If you post the partial VIN and transmission assembly code that is stamped on the transmission case, we can tell you if the transmission is original or not.

Thanks you so much, I appreciate your comments. I could only find to numbers in the block the first V0531TYX and the other 3970010

From ChevyMania.com

Code  Year  CID   Vehicle   HP    RPO   Trans      Carb    Comments
TYX    75     350   Truck     160   LS-9   Manual   4-Brl    C 10 & C 20
TYX    76     350   Truck     165   LS-9   Manual   4-Brl    C 10 & C 20
TYX    77     350   Truck     165   LS-9   Manual   4-Brl    C 10 & C 20

The block casting date would tell you which year.

This car was at Carlisle in the Auction last Thursday.  This car was CLEAN and well presented.  It essentially needed nothing.

It needs the body sill black-out paint below the Z22 rocker moldings.  Wink

Because both the block casting number (3782870) and engine suffix code (S) were used multiple years, you need to supply the block casting date to narrow it down.

If you go by Danny, please check the partial VIN and assembly code on the transmission case.

Thanks!
