46  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: Console Screw - 9421137 on: February 03, 2015, 08:55:26 PM
I've had at least one forum member assist me in trying to obtain just the bottom half of the console. It would be great if I could keep it all OEM.

Bob, how about this one?

Larry had two really nice unrestored 68's a RS/Z28 Sea Frost Green and a RS/L78 Corvette Bronze that we certified in 2003 & 2004.

His Z must be the one pictured on the home page of his registry...

Seller's latest disclaimer...

On Jan-30-15 at 10:50:35 PST, seller added the following information:

"Hi I am going to try to explain this Camaro Z/28. To those guys who are emailing me with all their question and thoughts on my Camaro Z/28 being a restamp. First off I bought this Camaro Z/28 from a high end Collector who told me it is a matching number Camaro Z/28. Then I sent a friend to look at the motor and look at the vin numbers on the block by the oil filter. He call me and told me they where there and look like the correct stampings. So never the less I bought the Camaro Z/28 because of this Camaro Z/28 was restored to a very high quality restoration!! Like I said in the right up I have photo's of the restoration and Protect-O-Plate and other papers. I am not trying to pull the lid over any ones eyes I am being honest on what I know about this Camaro Z/28! So to all of the know it all's out there if you are not looking to buy please don't email me with all of your thoughts and opinions!! Thank you Terry @207-807-6722."

57  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Did all 69 Z28's with black vinyl tops have black stripes? on: January 29, 2015, 10:16:06 PM
While the dealer literature reports that a black stripe is the default color with LeMans Blue, only white stripes have been observed in practice, except for special orders.

58  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Maintenance / Re: Master Cylinder Resleeving on: January 29, 2015, 05:22:37 PM
Nope, but a lot of CRG members recommend White Post...

From the White Post website...

•Our rebuilt cylinders are better than new, they will never rust, pit or corrode, because we install brass sleeves.
•We disassemble the cylinders, glassbead clean, bore oversize, press in the brass sleeve and size them to original specifications. We rebuild your cylinder with all necessary new parts and apply an original finish on the outside.
•We rebuild vacuum boosters for all cars and trucks.
•We also reline brake shoes and disc brake pads.
•All work is guaranteed with a written Lifetime Warranty.
•Quick Service - Same Day & Overnight. (Normally 2 to 3 Days.)
•When you receive your rebuilt brake cylinders, they're ready to bolt on your car, and you'll never have to touch them again!
