4202  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: service replacement DF rally wheel on: June 07, 2007, 03:49:05 PM
Very cool (Cool) Ron!  Thanks for sharing.  Is there any date code on the inside of the rim where the tire mounts?  All five of my rims just have an upside-down "DF" by the valvestem.  The only date code on my rims is on the inside of the rim where the tire mounts.  My rims are all stamped 15x6 JK with a date code of 2  68 in this area.  I was just wondering how the service replacement wheels are stamped in this area.  Thanks in advance.

4birdman -

Pass on this one.  Spend a few thousand dollars more on a clean body and you'll still come out ahead a few thousand dollars when your done.  Just my two cents.   Smiley

And Paul, I have Trans Am in my blood, I don't think the Camaro could get through my skin without being rejected.  Grin

I sent an e-mail to eBay Motors customer support expressing my concern about how eBay is being used to facilitate this activity.  Also note, the bidders are all participating in a "private" listing.  They don't want us to know who they are either.

Nice job Rich!  Ebay pulled the listing.   Wink

I'm a Trans Am guy, Camaros are a new beast to me!

Birdman -

Be careful!  Once you start working on, driving and racing first generation Camaros you'll be a Camaro guy!  Next thing you know, the Trans Am will be on Ebay.   Grin
