It is sold.

Bill -

How much did you sell it for?

Here we go.  I am going to try and attach a few pics.

Tim -

Very cool!   Cool   Cool   Cool  That's the first one I've seen with those colors.  Are you going to restore it?

Paul,  to me it looks like the stripes on the D80 spoiler are painted wrong.  I don't think they are suppose to wrap around.

Tim

Tim -

You're correct.  The stripes on the header panel are painted wrong also.  It looks like a Chevelle.   Sad

When will our Camaros be immobile gasoline relics from the past?

Never!  Haven't you watched the movie "Mad Max"?   Grin

How about posting a picture...  I'd like to see what the black top looks like!

Phillip -

Here's what that color combination looks like:

What do you think?  Do you like it?

4207  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Are desirable Camaros becoming out of reach to the average person? on: May 08, 2007, 12:33:06 PM
Agreed $20 to $30K IS a lot of money - however look at the price of new cars. $30 won't even buy a top of the line model Toyota mini van. I know as I own 1 along with my '67. In 10 years the van will be in the junk yard while the Camaro will probably doubled in price.

So perhaps the question should be can you afford NOT to buy one....

Rod -

I like your thinking!!  Now, I need to get my wife to see it like that...    Grin

ok so can you give me an example of the number/date that l might see on the carb?  they are 4 digit numbers l believe?

Earl -

A carburetor with a date code of 0489 to 0949 (2-17-69 to 4-4-69) should be satisfactory.  Everyone agree?

O.K., you replace them for aesthetics.  I just wanted to make sure there wasn't a problem (function-wise) with the original ground straps and screws.  Thank you!

Hi and welcome -

Take a look at this link:

It's the best info we have on exterior colors so far.   Smiley

04C

Earl -

Any carburetor with a date code in the 02C - 04A range should be satisfactory.  Everyone agree?   Smiley

All of these components are available through Rick's First Gen.

JM

Thanks Jerry.  Now I know where to buy them, but I still don't know the logic behind replacing the original ones.   Huh

I'd start by checking all the grounds.
