I bought a rod years ago for my car, it was in a GM package. I don't remember the p/n but can probably look it up. I remember it was longer than one I found at a swap meet on an original switch. That's probably the problem. You could probably make a rod that will work if you need to mock something up.

Here's an original NOS rod that sold yesterday for $264.89!!    Shocked

Does anyone know of a source that ships to Canada? Also how can you tell you are getting an original Millennium Industries manual and not a copy of a copy?

There are several venders on Ebay that ship to Canada.  They usually have a photo of the manual they are selling in the listing.  You could always email them before buying to verify which manual they are selling as well as the shipping cost to Canada.

Here is one such listing:     http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1967-67-Camaro-factory-assembly-manual-loose-leaf-type_W0QQitemZ260152634675QQihZ016QQcategoryZ34214QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem

Note:  This is just an example.  I have never personally purchased anything from this vender.     Smiley

Here's the original CRG thread where I got the photo:  http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=1834.0

The photo is bigger and enlarges with better quality from this thread.     Huh

Don't you wish your Camaro was that new?    Grin

Does anyone have any Van Nuys Assembly Plant photos?

Here's a Van Nuys photo I got from JohnZ...     Smiley

Photo below is the Van Nuys Final Line - "B"-bodies in front of and behind the Camaro, and a Camaro is visible in the background on the previous pass.

You're right - but according to this site only the large bumper guards were available in '68

Correct.    Smiley

Mine didn't have the bumper guards on the front, don't know if it supposed to and I don't know if this is the original bumper either.

68Z -

Only the rear bumper guards are mandatory with the '68 Z/28 option.  The front bumper guards were available for any Camaro in '68 but had to be ordered separately (RPO V31).  It is very possible and O.K. if your car has only the rear bumper guards on it, many original Z/28 are like this.  As far as the photo of your front bumper (shown above), my front bumper has all the same holes in the area shown.  "JohnKY" is correct, none of the holes in the front bumper are used to mount the bumper guards.  See V31 in your AIM for the correct front bumper guard installation instructions.

I thought there were no factory bumper guards on 1968 Camaros?

Incorrect.

Does anyone recommend a particular assembly manual?  I have seen a few different ones advertised for sale.  What I am looking for is the most accurate, readability, and visual drawings.

The information inside is all the same, only the covers are different.
