I never met ken lucas, however I needed a few questions answered on one of my cars and called him out of the clear blue sky one day. well he answered everything in great detail and sent me pics on how to install and cut the rug in my 69. he was a great help and a nice guy who knew exactly what he was talking about.  His shop would be a good choice.

  Gary your right.  I uncovered  my 70 and opened the door ( which is what I should have done earlier) and the bumpers on ebay are the same  size as the ones on that car. Dont know if they are NOS or not but the ones on ebay are probably 70 and up door bumpers.

hows everybody? I have a question.  are these correct for a 69 camaro?  I have 2 69s and both have much larger door bumpers. my question is do I have 8 repops or are these not for a 69?  thanks in advance

from what i understand  ground up and ricks have the nicest ones. who knows how true that is. I have a set from ground up, they seem ok, aluminum looking rivits which I believe should be correct.  I also just bought a set on ebay that are suppose to be NOS with the rivits. they are on the way to me.  cant wait to see what i got myself into now i will let you guys know

thanks, the carpet I took out was under the mount.  since I first posted i did cut around the mount, it came out great.   if you are correct , i am glad to hear that the carpet  didnt come under the mount anyway.

ok guys, i am installing a new ACC  carpet  in my 69 camaro. the front bracket for the console is bolted thru the floor, looks like its impossible to get at with out taking out the trans. whats the trick to the new install? what can I do besides going crazy taking out that bracket?  I know one of you guys must have a trick. thanks in advance. ??? ???

i didnt recieve them yet, the one in the package is suppose to have rivits also.  did  GM sell over the counter rivited sill plates that differed  from the ones which came on the cars back in 69?   and even if they do differ alittle they still have to be better then repops  NO?   they are already bought, just wondering if I got lucky or what?

I have another of  my many dumb questions.   i have a NOS posi sticker I want to install on my 69. does anyone know what glue to use that would work best??  anyone know the proper procedure, if there is one?  i have read that at times not the best of care was taken in the gluing process.  thanks

ok guys i am confused. i have a 69 camaro with a 723 midnight  green standard interior. should the carpet color be dark green, dark olive green, or were both avaliable??  ACC  carpets offers  dk green, dk olive green and moss green. and if you look in the various parts house books you will really go crazy.   any thoughts?? thanks in advance :o
