1  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / 1969 Camaro - Rear Leaf Spring Color Code/Paint Dab on: July 07, 2013, 10:29:09 PM
In the assembly manual on page 57, it clearly describes a color code stripe on the eye of the front of the rear spring.

Was this done at the factory (I assume so) to distinguish various spring applications or for checking torque specs after assembly?

Are there documented cars with this on it?

Was the color code stripe a paint dab or a sticker?

What color was the stripe/dab if you had a 69 Z/28 Norwood build?

Thank you CRG!!!
2  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Heads up on bellhousing alignment on: June 21, 2013, 09:28:43 PM
Thanks CRG and all it's contributors.

I really enjoyed the article written by Jerry M. regarding the proper alignment process for the bellhousing. How many of us have been doing it the incorrect way, scary to think.

Thanks once again CRG!!
3  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / T-60 Battery (top post heavy duty) on: May 30, 2013, 10:29:11 PM
Would anybody have pictures of a T-60 top post heavy duty battery? Is there another designation for the T-60?

What was the difference in dimensions and/or cranking amps in relationship to a Y-55?

If anybody has a T-60 they would like to sell, I would like to purchase one.

Looking for either new or a good used one.

Thank you CRG!

Thank you for the answer.

Thanks for the link. I was on it earlier which really prompted me to ask the question the way I did.
I find that sometimes the threads can get a little off topic and it makes it tough to really determine what the final, correct answer is to the question. Sorry for the "directness of my wording".

I really enjoy this site and especialy it's wealth of knowledge.

Regards

Can someone provide dimensions/measurements and colors for these stripes?

Is it possible to post a picture of the shaft and colors? Maybe original and restored photos?

I only need info. for the car mentioned above, no other drive line please. I will leave it in your trustworthy hands.

Thanks

Thank you Sir.
12  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Option Z22 and Z23 on: April 02, 2013, 01:27:40 PM
Would a 1969 Camaro R/S Z/28 (option Z22) with a standard black interior and a console with gauges, and not the Z23 option, have the bright pedal trim, a wood grain steering wheel shroud with the RS steering wheel emblem, a dash grab bar/bezels/emblem and dash instrument panel molding?

If not, was it only the Z23 option code that triggered this option package?

Would the same car automatically have the woodgrain radio and wiper/headlamp switch plates because of the woodgrain on the console shifter area?

Thanks
13  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / 1969 Trunk Mat on: April 01, 2013, 10:55:28 PM
What option package triggered the installation of a trunk mat from the factory?
14  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Restoration / Trim Rings - 1969 on: December 30, 2009, 02:58:09 PM
What style of trims rings were used on a 1969 Z/28?
Are there detailed photo's avaiable?
I understand there were two styles of clips used based on the production date of the car. What were they (pictures) and when did the change take place?

Thanks
15  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / C.O.P.O. - Automatic Transmission on: June 13, 2008, 04:50:45 PM
How many column shift automatic C.O.P.O.'s were built?

Can someone supply actual numbers or statictics or better yet some articles on this topic?

Thanks
