I am restoring a 69 Pontiac trans am and the sub frame is painted now. Does anyone know if the 69 firebird /trans am have the orange strip on the left front sub frame above the  sway bar like the Camaros do??thanks John

Does anyone know if the true original brake pads were bare steel not plated gold?All of the original ones that I have seen are bare steel without the noise tab.anyone ?most of the replacement nos pads are plated gold. thanks John

Does the upper shaft and bushings get painted with the control arm? I looked at a few originals and the shafts, bushing and bolts ,washers look like they were painted.Any thoughts on this? thanks John

Has anyone seen a 100 percent gloss black finish on upper and lower contrl arms. I usually refinish arms in a semi gloss 75 percent black.The reason I am asking is I  up a nos arm and its a 100 percent gloss black. thanks John

Has anyone ever seen the upper and lower arms come from the factory in 100 percent gloss black????What do you guys think is correct???Also are the upper shafts and bushings,washers installed before paint???So that would mean the bushings and shafts,bolts and washers are black also.Thoughts on this??? thanks John

Anyone know anything about the casting date codes in bell housings, trans cases ect... Example there is a circle with a 3 then a line and two dots is that march second  week??anyone thanks John
