I would contact Moser Engineering.  They will build a rear end to your specs.  I had them build me one for Camaro project I was doing about 15 years ago.  They were very reasonable then.  I would contact them for a quote.

General Discussion / Re: fuel guage readings in console
« on: June 08, 2021, 12:52:25 AM »
I played with resistors to get my gauge to read more accurately.  I drained the tank and added 9 measured gallons of gas, then added resistors of varying value to the wire going to the sender until the gauge read half full.  Hope this helps. Dave

General Discussion / Re: Help to ID this bolt

Looks like a bolt for mounting the alternator.  I seem to remember they use a stud with a spacer in '68.  In '69 the alternator was mounted on the opposite side with a large bracket that cover the top of the alternator.   ???

If you can find someone to make you a set in 3/8" tubing you won't have the gas leak problems that most of the 5/16" sets have.

The front grille appears to be black.  Since it is not an RS it should be silver.

If you have upgraded to a Tru-Trac geared posi. A std.80w90 is all you need.  I'm using Valvoline's 75w90 with no issues.

What is the complete "CE" number stamped on the pad?  The first digit after "CE" should be the year of the warranty replacement.
