Jonesy you are correct the 69 hose is for all SB... the lower markings with the UY are for 67-68 Z exclusively...

Good news  Grin I heard from EM and I am going through the process... I will let everyone know when everything is finalized... I will be doing upper and lowers for SB and BB 67-69 Camaro's to begin with. COPO's included. Next will be 70-73 SB uppers and lowers. I have the research done for all of the above listed hoses and will be submitting the Part#'s to the licensing company.

Yeah...

I just got a set of upper and lower hoses from Rick's for a 69 SS, and the GM markings were pathetic....

I didn't have the heart to put them on....
Exactly why I did some research and came up with the stamps...

Will do Jeff, I have submitted a request to the licensing company... let's see where it goes....

Thanks John, I have sent a request to them.
The 67-68 Z hose markings were taken from the photos of Jon Mello's survivor 67 Z hose.
I will keep everyone up to date with the results of the request to equity management...

The black ones usually are not near as brittle as the colors... you may be able to find a good used set if yours are real bad.

Here are the results of the 2 stamps I have made so far... does any one (JohnZ) know what I need to do as far as permission/licensing from GM in order to sell hoses with the stamps on them?

1088  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Restoration / Re: Brittle plastic on: February 24, 2007, 12:33:24 PM
Are they a color other than black? If so there is really nothing that can be done with them... UV light seems to have a terrible affect on the colored plastic, it gets hard brittle then deteriorates.

There are a good many non spoiler z's out there.... They would have the stripes which went to the edge of the deck lid.
They also could have been spoiler cars....
1091  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Decoding/Numbers / Re: IS my car a real Z??? on: January 23, 2007, 01:44:08 PM
Tinkerr... yep about the same... I wish I would have followed up on this Z28... I should have bought it. The Ralley Wheels alone are worth a good bit.

11C is about the cut off for chambered pipes being installed on all z28's, it may have had them, I do not know how to tell definatively.

Dusk Blue with blue interior would be a good color combo...
The front sheetmetal is there and the grille is an original grey molded siliver painted piece.
If I am not mistaken the car is missing the console and the drivers door panel.

If you bought the car out of Atlanta recently... yes it is a pre X code Z... I actually won the bid on the car the first time he auctioned it on ebay and then he did not like the price it brought with the no reserve auction... $2850...and he refused to sell it to me...  You only paid $2500 for it though Grin... I was looking at the car and it has a good bit of the original paint on it. It also has a set of matched 15" ralley wheels date coded for the car. It is a muncie car with the original white overspray down the firewall... Supposedly the car has 42k miles.
It has the fast ratio manual box in it... the car was out of Asheville NC and the 302 supposedly went into a street rod.
1093  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / 69 Z munice on: January 12, 2007, 05:49:24 PM

1095  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: Rear trunk emblem and spoiler question. on: January 08, 2007, 09:44:04 AM
As far as I know all the 1969 deck lids got the holes for the emblem in the lower position... then if it was a D80 car the upper holes were punched and the lower ones were covered with tape... then the spoiler was installed.
