kurt, my 12d 67 rs-ss has the 467 master with manual discs, the AD stamp and a julian date of 315. it is original to the car. not sure if you are looking for more manual disc cars.

i actually found a place that sells the rivet gun and the correct rivets to attach the grille mldg to the lower valance. heartbeat city sells the correct rivets to attach the grille to the mldgs. the rivet tool cost me 200! if you want to send me the grille and mldgs, i could put it together for you, but you would need to use the rivet gun to attach it to the valance. send me a pm.

everything else for the z besides the power disc brakes was optional. you could get it with no tach, no guages, and power steering was actually rare for a z-28. if you dont have jerry's definitive 69 z-28 t. look for the brace on the left rear chassis rail for dual exhaust, as all z's had dual exhaust.
good luck

651  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: 1967 SS Project Pictures on: January 25, 2008, 03:55:17 PM
since it is not a numbers matching car, dropping a big block in the car would be a plus in my opinion. you could do a nickey or yenko clone. post a pic of the trim plate if you can. good luck.

653  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Part # needed on: January 24, 2008, 05:49:21 PM
most of the time, they go for around 20.00 on ebay. i thought that was a bit much.
654  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Restoration / Re: 4-Speed Hole on: January 23, 2008, 05:56:10 PM
the original hole looks like it was cut with a torch.

656  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: SHOULD I BUY THIS CAR? HELP! on: January 23, 2008, 05:49:49 PM
sounds like a lot of money for a car with the wrong drivetrain AND needs floors and a trunk! it is very close to my butternut yellow 67. it is 12D production.
657  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Restoration / Re: License Plate Restoration on: January 13, 2008, 02:12:32 PM
i know in new york, the original plates are considered "Historical" registration. so even if your subaru has the same plate # the camaro would be a historical plate.
658  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Decoding/Numbers / Re: Trim tag for sale on ebay on: January 06, 2008, 10:34:11 PM
i know that they did not use the d80 on the trim tag until after 05A, a my car doesnt have it. spoilers were mandatory after april.
