648  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: Oil line for 1967 cars with guages on: March 19, 2008, 03:35:12 PM
that  compression fitting on the firewall is the same set up as my 12D 67 rs/ss. i purchased the car from the original owner in 1984, and it hasnt been touched. i'll have to check my assembly manual again, because i thought the same thing that something had been changed. i seem to remember that it is in the assembly manual.

AS OF APRIL FIRST, SPOILERS WERE MANDATORY AND THE PROCE OF THE Z-28 OPTION WENT FROM 473.95 TO 506.60 TO INCLUDE THE PRICE OF THE SPOILERS. AS FAR AS THE DUCTED HOOD, THERE IS A HOLE IN THE FIREWALL ANOVE THE FUSE BOX FOR THE HARNESS TO RUN THROUGH. I THINK IT IS 3/4THS OF AN INCH IN DIAMETER. SEARCH CRG FOR A THREAD ON IT. IT WAS JUST DISCUSSED NOT TOO LONG AGO.
654  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: 67 12bolt rear end cover ? (notch?) on: March 02, 2008, 02:15:48 PM
no notch is correct. the one with the notch is a later replacement after 1970.
good luck

656  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Decoding/Numbers / Re: 1967 camaro manual disc master cylinder on: February 10, 2008, 02:56:52 PM
kurt, my 12d 67 rs-ss has the 467 master with manual discs, the AD stamp and a julian date of 315. it is original to the car. not sure if you are looking for more manual disc cars.

657  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Restoration / Re: 67 mounting of grill on: January 31, 2008, 08:12:00 PM
i actually found a place that sells the rivet gun and the correct rivets to attach the grille mldg to the lower valance. heartbeat city sells the correct rivets to attach the grille to the mldgs. the rivet tool cost me 200! if you want to send me the grille and mldgs, i could put it together for you, but you would need to use the rivet gun to attach it to the valance. send me a pm.

658  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Decoding/Numbers / Re: CAN SOMEONE HELP ME WITH MY 69 IT IS A WEARD ONE! on: January 31, 2008, 08:01:58 PM
everything else for the z besides the power disc brakes was optional. you could get it with no tach, no guages, and power steering was actually rare for a z-28. if you dont have jerry's definitive 69 z-28 t. look for the brace on the left rear chassis rail for dual exhaust, as all z's had dual exhaust.
good luck
659  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Restoration / Re: roof rail weatherstrip on: January 26, 2008, 05:30:08 PM
