616  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Restoration / Re: '69 Camaro, where to start??????? on: March 28, 2008, 08:58:43 AM
start with the floor. you want to keep the car as straight as possible. dont take it all apart at once. do the floors, then work your way out to the wheelhouses and quarters.
good luck

618  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Restoration / Re: 1967 rear defroster on: March 25, 2008, 09:12:42 PM
will probably work, but the switch on a 69 is different. it is a toggle. the 67 mounts under the dash and rotates. send me your email and i will try to get you some pics. the car is in the body shop awaiting paint.

624  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: Oil line for 1967 cars with guages on: March 19, 2008, 03:35:12 PM
that  compression fitting on the firewall is the same set up as my 12D 67 rs/ss. i purchased the car from the original owner in 1984, and it hasnt been touched. i'll have to check my assembly manual again, because i thought the same thing that something had been changed. i seem to remember that it is in the assembly manual.

AS OF APRIL FIRST, SPOILERS WERE MANDATORY AND THE PROCE OF THE Z-28 OPTION WENT FROM 473.95 TO 506.60 TO INCLUDE THE PRICE OF THE SPOILERS. AS FAR AS THE DUCTED HOOD, THERE IS A HOLE IN THE FIREWALL ANOVE THE FUSE BOX FOR THE HARNESS TO RUN THROUGH. I THINK IT IS 3/4THS OF AN INCH IN DIAMETER. SEARCH CRG FOR A THREAD ON IT. IT WAS JUST DISCUSSED NOT TOO LONG AGO.
630  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: 67 12bolt rear end cover ? (notch?) on: March 02, 2008, 02:15:48 PM
no notch is correct. the one with the notch is a later replacement after 1970.
good luck
