just watch the "shipping and handling" with gmpartsdirect. they give the stuff away at just above cost, but make it up on handling.
621  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: 67 DG Rally wheel trim rings on: July 12, 2008, 09:31:58 AM
thats an aweful big expense to put on the shelf. have yours restored for about 90 a ring, and put them on the car. rick is a great guy to deal with. you wont be disappointed.
buddy
p.s. tell him i said hello

623  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: Rivets for 68 grill on: July 09, 2008, 12:12:43 PM
i have the correct rivet gun to install these rivets. i am a little reluctant to rent it out as i still havent installed the grille in my 67 rs/ss. i wouldnt know about taking a deposit to insure its safe return. i am not a business, just someone who wants things done right. send me a pm and we can discuss it more. i also have extra rivets to rivet the grille to the lower valance.

625  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / were rear bumper bolts splatter painted? on: June 24, 2008, 08:01:55 AM
i know this has been gone over before, but i searched the old threads and didnt come up with anything. Johnz would probably know best,on a 67 camaro,  were the rear bumpers installed before or after the trunk was splatter painted? did the bolts have splatter paint on them.
thanks
buddy

629  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Decoding/Numbers / Re: Is this a real DZ302?? on: May 06, 2008, 10:19:54 AM
what is the date code on the back of the block. that is a good place to start. the 010 block was used for many years as a 2 and 4 bolt main set up.
