Braille batteries have plenty of oomph to get it done.  My Z cranks faster than it did before.

Check out their web site.

I hollowed out my old Delco battery and placed a Braille racing battery inside.  Can't tell once it is installed.  Vintage look and modern reliability.  I have three Braille batteries and all have worked out well.  Hold a charge forever, and take almost no time on the trickle charger.

Will post a link to my tutorial.

Agree.  Obviously not as valuable as one with original engine and trans.  Still a premium over an SS 350.

I still say it is two different tags.  So, on that we have to agree to disagree.   What is sad is the the seller knows it has a swapped tag.   The car is being misrepresented as being genuine.

My 69 Z has an M20 and 4:10 rear.   1st gear isn't a granny gear by any means.

Bill sends the following email to his next door neighbor.

Stan.  I feel awful.  Hope you can forgive me.   Behind your back, I have been tapping your wife now for about 3 months.  I knew it was wrong, but just couldn’t help myself.  Hope you can forgive me.

Ten minutes later, after Stan shoots his wife, Bill sends the following.   Damn spell correct; wifi, not wife!

Pics for comparison would help.

Possible?   Yes.

Feasible? Not likely.

I don't think you can put that genie back in the bottle without heat and then some paint work.
Would be glad if someone could prove me wrong.

I agree it has been hit with an abrasive.   No doubt about it.
The 6 looks different.
The first 1 in 10 10 looks different in relation to the 3 above it.
The 4 in the body number looks different in relation to the B in BDY.

Could just be a different camera or different camera angle.

Am I the only one who thinks those are two different tags?

The "6" in "69" looks different.

General Discussion / Re: Holley Carb Issues
« on: June 20, 2023, 01:35:49 AM »
Sounds like it is loading up with fuel.   Here is the clue:  "When you try to start it, it takes ALOT of turning over without giving it any gas and then finally it starts."
Classic sign of a carb letting in too much fuel.

Because you already changed the PVs, probably needle and seat.   May not even need replaced.  May just have a bit of junk in it not allowing it to shut off fuel.

Please, someone correct me if I am wrong.   It looks like the tag was swapped AGAIN!!!
The tag in the CL ad looks to be a more recent fake; looks better than the one posted above.

Are my eyes deceiving me?
