271  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / 1969 SS350 camaro for sale on: March 28, 2006, 11:10:54 PM
Just bought another car so I'm selling my SS350. It is an early car so no X code however it is a complete numbers matching car. It is a 3 speed car, all original except one repaint. Paint is very nice. This car is very original. Same owners owned this car from 1970-2005.

Build date of the car is 04C. It is a 720 trim tag car. Check out ebay item # 4623931565. I just bought it.

Does anyone know how many cars besides pace cars had orange interior. I just bought a RS SS 350 Hugger orange car with orange interior. I think I've only seen one other car with that combo. Seems to me this is a rare car. It's even got the original paint.
275  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / 1969 LM1 production figures on: March 15, 2006, 09:17:14 PM
How many LM1 cars were built? How many were convertibles?
276  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Fuel guage goes past full on: March 10, 2006, 07:53:53 PM
Fuel gauge was working fine when I filled the tank. Drove home and parked the car. Next time I started it the gauge went past full to  3 o'clock. Any ideas what happened?
277  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: SS350 3 speed production figures on: February 05, 2006, 12:46:49 PM
Car is a base preX code car. No options. Not planning on selling the transmission. It is numbers matching to the car so I'd never part with it.

My VIN ends with 920.

Guess I didn't specify the year. Mine is a 69.
280  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / 1969 Z brake booster fitting on: February 02, 2006, 11:23:03 AM
What is the correct brake booster fitting for a 69 Z intake. Is it the threaded one with one vacuum port?
281  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / 302DZ balancer on: January 31, 2006, 03:10:11 PM
Looking to find a replacement balancer for my 1969 302DZ. I called Ricks Camaro and asked them about the one they sell. Supposedly it is technically correct but they gave me the GM part number. It is 88960604. The application is for a 1970-74 350, ZZ4 crate engine. GM performance parts shows that current replacements are no longer available. Does anyone know what I should go with? I hate to buy a used one. Also what is the thickness of the original. Is it 1 11/16 inches?
282  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / SS350 3 speed production figures on: January 31, 2006, 01:47:44 AM
I just purchased a numbers matching SS350 3 speed. I have read that they only made 3079 cars with a 3 speed, however that included SS cars and LM1 cars. Are there any figures on how many SS350's were produced? I do know that I'm going to put a 4 speed in it and put the 3 speed aside. Also change the gearing. It's quite the dog with the current combo.
