Someone put a repop trim tag on it... damn that sucks terribly for the owner.
IT is a LARGE TT for a VERY EARLY November of 1968 built car.

Come on. Very obvious tag is original and untouched.

Been in effect in Ohio since first time I had to do it and that's been 15 years. Don't know when they started it but my guess is there was no inspection required at all before.

In Ohio you take the car to a dealer. They check the VIN and mileage and then fill out a form with your name and address with the VIN and mielage. You take that and title with you to title office and then get an Ohio title. Pretty simple.

EBay changed search a while back. You have to go to advanced search and use exact words any order instead of all words any order. Narrows it down alot.

That's why I always either wait until check clears, get cash or have wire transfer before car and title leave.

Produce a picture and end the discussion I cannot believe you owned something 40 years with no picture. This thread has gone to long with no outside proof from you. Move on the car is beautiful in any color. Darrell

Pictures have been shown and in my eyes proves his point. Plus the man knows what color he ordered. Some people are to bull headed to admit a mistake.

Yeah. My wife for one has a very hard time distinguishing colors. When gets her clothes ready for work she always asks me if this matches. Her view of colors is not the same as mine.

I have tags of animals on my clothes so I know what goes together for me.  Bear goes with bear and tiger with tiger etc.

Yes but black bear and polar bear go with any animal!

If you can't do that, check with MK insurance.  Not sure if they write policy on a project, but worth checking in to.

Like I mention before. He just needs to call his insurance agent and put fire and theft on it. Its cheap. I had a Harley stored for years that didn't run so that's all I carried on it. It was like $70.00 a year.

Sounds like some of these states are just money hungry. Why else would you be required to license a vehicle that is not driven.

There is no way they can make you register and insure a car that is not on the street. I would have insurance on it anyway. At least fire and theft. Just call your agent and put it on. It won't be but $100.00 a year max.
