General Discussion / Re: Torque Thursts for a 67 camaro z/28
« on: January 01, 2013, 01:16:30 AM »
My 67 L78 w/original tt but there is no identification on the wheel anywhere other than the
center caps has American Racing on it not A R Equipment. Also the fronts are 14 x 6 and rear are 15 x7.
The inside of the front measure 12 1/2 inches  and clears the original disc brakes. Back spacing is 3 1/4.

General Discussion / Re: Official CRG Cap and T-shirt?

I understand the concerns about the gm approval but why not just use the current site logo it's been used for years. We are simply wanting to put the same logo
on a shirt and hat.  (I also believe in the KISS method). My only request would be for XLT shirts. I'm not much of a hat person but i definitely like everything  about
the original hat that John has and would order at least 2.
So come on guys I really want to see this happen so let's keep it simple and to the point. Point being I am a proud member of :

Congratulations to your dad for owning the best year of the bunch. Sweet ride and love the color. I would seriously concidering adding the black vinyl top back  to this car. I see that it is a LA built car. A friend of my has a LA car and he found his uoit sheet above the headliner. When I went to look for mine I borrowed one of those snake cameras from a friend and took the sun visor down and snaked it through the hole but I didn't find one.
How about some more pics with the interior.

The sub frame appears to be later (69) than an early 68 car.

For what it's worth. My 67 L35 nor 03C red car's body # is 93489 just 36 cars from the pace car.
And my 67 L35 LOS car is an 02C built car also very early from what I'm told.

The I.D # on the passenger side front block deck is T0109MY, the partial V.I.N. is 18L326299 & the casting # is 3916323. The heads and block are January '68 date codes. I have the block, crank, heads, pistons & rods. The block is standard but needs to be bored and the crank will need to be polished, possibly turned.
