So, what's the engine code from the POP?
2747  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: 68 z master cylinder on: April 23, 2007, 02:36:42 PM
The masters were all painted black by the supplier. This has been confirmed by JohnZ.
It was cheap paint on a raw casting and it did not hold up.

Judging allows either, but they were black originally.

Jason,
Could you please only post in one thread about your car?
Unless, of course, you wish to discuss 69 pinion yokes. Smiley

No, assuming it was an automatic originally, it had a powerglide.

If you find the axle code, that will tell us a little more.

That engine date looks correct.

There should be 2 sets in the rear on a 67.
2754  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Not much LOS stuff on orphans on: April 13, 2007, 11:58:45 AM
Since these are often from a dealership, it depends on where the dealership is located. We have a lot of docs from a few midwest dealers, so that makes the list heavy with NOR cars.
It's not a random distribution at all... Smiley

Max,
What is the engine date? The distributor has to be before that. Smiley

Marlin,
This car still survives. Smiley
It's been a while since I've seen it, but I'll see if I can track it down.
2757  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Decoding/Numbers / Re: New tag for registry on: April 12, 2007, 12:23:22 AM
Nope, nothing on that one.
Can you repost the NOR #? It's missing a digit.
What trans did it have? Almost sounds like it could have been a powerglide car, if that axle is original.

Thanks!
2758  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Decoding/Numbers / Re: Need help on this engine code on: April 10, 2007, 11:23:14 PM
Joe,
I've seen a few pads where the stamps overlapped like this. Not common, but it happened.
2759  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Decoding/Numbers / Re: What do you guys think of this tag? on: April 10, 2007, 03:20:58 PM
Some coupes also didn't have X-codes.
2760  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: package shelf color on: April 09, 2007, 11:13:02 PM
I'm confused.
Do you currently have deluxe or standard, green or black, seatbelts? What are the dates on the tags?
