There were no red standard belts in 67-9. Only red deluxe.

Congrats!
If you get a chance, I'd be interested in a better picture of the engine pad for this block. Smiley

Yes, it's real. I could read everything but one option in his pic so I knew what I was getting. 327 powerglide car, azure turquiose. Smiley

The car was a no-sale back in 2005 - at $47K!

But I could edit it. Fixed it for you. Smiley

If it is lightly decked, it can work. I know of at least three people who contacted us and said that it went from nothing to something visible. It's not magic, it is a known metallurgical process. But it's gonna be closer to Pat's results than a crystal clear stamp, that's for sure. Smiley

I merged Jesper's two topics together (keeping all the posts), since they are the same topic.

It looks like KF modified. And there were zero KE engines made.

For that price, yes. Wink

So? That's wrong info and it's the wrong carb.
Not the only mistake on that site....
2756  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Decoding/Numbers / Re: X44 BU Rear on: December 08, 2007, 04:08:02 AM
I'd need more data, but I'd guess it's been swapped.
2757  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: Quadrajet Question on: December 05, 2007, 11:51:24 PM
Earl,
You can put a 200 on it, but it would be wrong. I've *never* seen a L35/4 with a 200, all have 204's.

No concrete data to help you date-wise, but I'd say up to a month before is easily fine. Could be more, but I don't have data to back it up...
2758  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: YH wheels on: December 05, 2007, 11:43:10 PM
Probably swapped with another Z to get new tires (I just got mags and you can have the old wheels and tires for $50, just give me your rims....).
2759  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: 1967 camaro 396 W/A.I.R. and T400 carburetor on: December 05, 2007, 11:27:41 PM
I'm not sure anyone knows the transition dates for that carb. Sad  There is the chance that you will only find one of those three part #'s with the correct dates for your build date.

The engine date is irrelevant; the carb was put on in the assembly plant so the body build date is relevant.
2760  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Decoding/Numbers / Re: Trim Tag no X code on: December 05, 2007, 11:08:37 PM
The no-x codes are actually split pretty evenly between coupes and convertibles.

When you say it doesn't match, you mean the partial VIN by the oil filter or is there a VIN on the pad.
What axle is under the car and does it match?
Lastly, does the car have style trim (chrome quarter gills)?
