Thanks Phillip!

Wow..   you covered a LOT of material in very short order!   Wish I'd been there to hear it.. :)

Did you give a test afterwards? :)
No, no test. Hopefully,  more interest in Camaros.

Uh-oh, a DB guy at a Camaro meeting? Was it Tom?  I heard he was causing trouble at another seminar about computers.
Never caught his name, but I liked what he said about cars being made and restored to drive.

What we covered:
Brief description of design and media history
Differences in designs 67, 68, 69.

Hubcaps and wheels
Tire sizes
Various engines available, including COPOs.
Cowl plenum and Cowl Induction
Rare options
Brief description of First Gens racing
A few tips for AACA judging
How to find CRG home and forums

109 slides in an hour and 15 minutes, then fifteen minutes of questions. Needless to say we didn't dwell long on any single item.

WOW, the muscle car era really did die in 73! Sad... 😭 But thanks for sharing.

Had around 60 in attendance.  Pretty good for Philly. Finally getting a good group of muscle car era folks in AACA. Expecting a good showing of Camaros in Charlotte and Hershey. And BTW, our resident Mustang guy, Mark Young,  gave an overview presentation on Mustangs.
Maroman, there was quite a discussion about driving the cars, not just showing.  The most fervent speaker was a Dodge Brothers owner! 👍

Once you got it ready to sell, what condition would you realistically say it is in? What looked like a decent #2+ 68 Z sold for $44k at Mecum this January.
I'd think Bullitt65 is spot on.

Which day will your presentation be? Might have to come to hear that.
Friday, 9:45 am

We've been invited to give a presentation on First Generation Camaros at the AACA Annual Meeting in Philadelphia in February.

What part of NC?
Klassic Rides in Denver, NC does nice interior work.

I normally would prefer chrome to accent a car. But bronze on black would certainly make the wheels a focal point! You may have something there. Listen to Chick, we need to see it.

Maintenance / Re: Coolant crystals

Sounds like worn out coolant or stray electric current or both. There are plenty of wesites that tell you how to check with a volt meter.

I'm searching for a decent picture of a L26 engine for a program for our local club. Please post, and thanks in advance.

I was there judging. Pretty good turnout considering the rain.
