Great advice. I occasionally work at the Tech Center just down the street, so I will stop by this week and ask around. Thank you!

Hey folks,

Just received the NCRS docs for my 1968 Z. I had heard that the car was always in the SE Michigan / NW Ohio area. NCRS confirmed it was sold at dealer 201, zone 44, but that the dealer name was unavailable. Does anyone know this dealer?
3  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Willow Run plant about to see the wrecking ball...? on: January 08, 2015, 10:02:29 PM
I started my GM career at Willow Run in Transmission Engineering. It was a storied plant for sure, but not a great facility to work. It was pretty run down by the time I started working there in the mid-2000s. Just drove by the old facility on my way home from the airport. It's pretty much gone....

5  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Round 2: Going to see a '68 Z/28 - Need some help w/pics on: December 20, 2014, 09:23:31 PM
Nice car. My '68 Z has the original drivetrain and no docs...I'm OK with it...they are great cars and a much better value than the '69s. I would say anything in the high $20s or less would be a fair deal.

This is a pretty neat car, sounds unlikely that it has any early racing history but would be a lot of fun if you could get it for the right $.

10  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: seen this 68 Z on ebay if anyone is looking on: May 07, 2014, 10:06:10 PM
Cool car (I have an Oct 67 build Z) but the price is really up there. I think a good driver condition 68 with original motor is around mid 30s - sound right?

You can buy a ball hone (the good Flex-Hone brand) on Ebay for less than that. I bought one to do big blocks and have used it a number of times. Great investment IMO.

13  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / 3915085 Muncie tag - ok for 68 Z? on: January 04, 2014, 03:23:03 PM
Hi all,

I found a 3915085 assembly tag in a box of parts I got with my 68 Z. Is this the correct tag for a 68 Z28 with M21?

Thanks
Tonys
