Do  run the bolt in that holds the pin from the cam in place. Do not  forget to back it out when your done. get a book with pics,and use a line wrench. It's not too hard.

So would you be able to compare these dates with doors and hood to tell if the were replaced,or would they be pulled at random from there current stock at that time?

Maybe I have missed this in other areas, But what if anything do the numbers mean that are stamped on some of the body panels?
The latest ones I have found are in the left side of trunk, just under and to the left of the tail light.   Thanks

While I was sandblasting the bottom of my 67 is when I saw the numbers and just figured they were vin #s. they are not.The only one that is a vin is under the blower motor housing. sorry for my confusion

   My los 67 has the vin by the blower motor, The inside of the right rear frame rail, and on the underside of the tunnel, (can't remember exactly where)
