Mine are shaped just like the ones in the drawing.
Rick's First-Gen has them but his picture on his web site is a bad angle.
They don't look correct but they are.
They are asymmetrical, left and right, pieces.

Do you have the '67 Assembly Manual?? (AIM)
Order one if not. It's a must have if your reassembling.

Restoration / Anyone reproducing 1967 K19 smog hoses??
« on: March 02, 2009, 06:13:34 PM »
Can't seem to find reproduced hoses for my K19 Smog system.
I have a '67 SS-350 and have all the hardware but the hoses are brittle and beat up.
Corvette supply houses have some repro hoses but seem to be the wrong numbers.
Any ideas?

eBay item:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330308332947&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:MOTORS:1123

Claims standard bore '69 302 4 bolt -VO127DZ- NO VIN on the pad and a picture of an "A 17 8" cast date.

Or is it a "9" that just looks like an 8?

E-mailed me with claim of number stamped by the oil filter mount "...ending in 007"

The assembly paint swatches I found after tearing down my original '67 SS-350. Doubt the judges will be looking for these. ;D

Decoding/Numbers / Re: 01D '67 - Powerglide w/ December '66 style stamp
« on: February 06, 2009, 07:24:14 AM »
Then the pan at least, for sure must be a '66 model year built in December of '65. Because anything built in December of '66 had to be a '67 Model year which would have contained the year in the stamp. The TH-400 in '66 and '67 had the assembly "DAY" of the "MODEL" year stamped. 372 of '67 meant 372 days from January 1 of 1966. Or January 7, 1967.  So now how do I find info on the actual transmission to find out if it is a '65, '66, or '67? The stamp for '65 and '66 were the same formula but had NO model year, or assembly year. Characteristics in the case would be the only way to identify it as far as I can tell. Anyone??

Anyone out there have a '66 built camaro with a Powerglide that can list their PG pan stamp?
Or can CRG Record keepers please reply with some examples from registered Camaro's? Thanks.

The orange wire tower in the picture is incorrect. Hear is a picture of the correct tower (repro from HeartBeatCity) for the SB Camaro.

Decoding/Numbers / 01D '67 - Powerglide w/ December '66 style stamp
« on: February 02, 2009, 10:31:51 PM »
Having a hard time deciphering the date code for my powerglide.
My car is a January '67 (01D)
According to "Chevrolet By The Numbers" The pan stamp is a '66 style code.
So, T 12 06N = Toledo - December 6th - Night Shift.
Is that December 6th, 1966?
So did the '67 and later style stamp that included the year start in 1967?
And are those the assembly date or Model Year?

Hope this makes sense.  ???

You can get a similar aftermarket return spring bracket at Summit or on eBay.
As far as I can find the 2 barrels got the coil bracket setup from the factory. The four barrels got the tower with a hook.
Look on page 338 UPC M35 of the AIM. It is the only view I could find.
Don't know if the tower is for the automatic trans kick-down rod to clear or if there was a difference with m/t like in the picture..
