Restoration / Re: Camaro Restoration Guru's
« on: September 01, 2006, 07:30:32 PM »
Thanks JohnZ and Gambitt :)

I'm slowly finding much needed info on this site. I'm having a problem finding body broadcast copy decoding info, this is all I have to go off of, as I haven't found a buildsheet as of yet, but I haven't torn the car apart yet.
I'm in the process of documenting/taking multiple pictures of the car as it was purchased, before really tearing into it, and beginning the restoration process. I'm also trying a different approach as to the restoration, unlike my other cars that have been in the resto process for years, I'm purchasing everything I could possibly need now, in hopes of having this thing done in 6 month's..................at least thats the hope :)

Couple more questions........

1) I just bought a 69 rear-(sept date) that was advertised as a multi leaf. When put side by side with a 76 multi rear, the spring pads are 1/4 inch smaller than the 76 rear, is this common with the later rears?
2) Is there any advantage of running the multi leafs, especially on a non performance car?

Is there any chance my 327 2 bbl car came with multi leafs from the factory?
I read under suspension.......that all 12 bolts and 350 cars had them, but are there any cases where a 327 cars came so equipped?
