Mine master looks like it's stamped directly on the cylinder casting, not a machined surface?

What's that build date on the trim tag? 03E?

Cars built prior to late october could not have a suffix code (A B C) on the transmission. IIRC Oct 18 or 20th  is the first day of trans suffix codes.

My 10B Z does not have the suffix code

My 10B Z  has 9-20 AD Wheels. I'm pretty sure there are other dates after though. I also know there is an August date.

As Close as I've ever seen.  :D  Only interior is different. Wouldn't it have come originally with chambered?

The marking behind the rear seat indicated to the assembly line workers at Fisher Body what body that they were building. The reason it is written here is that some line operations were done before the trim tag was installed. So it was the way the body build was identified, and any error here would have resulted in an incorrect body being built. Not a small problem.

Thanks, I didn't think the chassis broadcast sheet was hardly ever found. Usually body broadcast sheet if anything. Norwood.

The chassis broadcast sheet would have traveled with the chassis assembly on the assembly line, so I wouldn't think it would end up under a seat. Maybe it was on the gas tank like LA?

Any opinions on this one? I thought chassis broadcast sheets on Norwood cars were virtually non existent.

So I have a 10B Oct 68 car. The code is front drivers side from what I'm reading, correct? Is it on the top of the flange, or the bottom looking from underneath. Is it visible with the tank in the car?
