Sorry to hear, man.
Just curious, what was the failed component(s)?

Check the flexplate for cracks.
What does it do off idle or when revved? Or, when in gear, does the sound change?

Garage Talk / Re: Car Lift
« on: June 16, 2019, 01:04:36 PM »
We use mostly Rotary asymmetrical two posts at work all day, probably the best. We also have a Challenger asymmetrical that gets constant use and I feel like it's as good as anything out there and possibly a little easier to set a car or truck on than the Rotary. The Challenger has round, screw type feet with rubber pads.
I installed a Rotary two post in-ground lift at home because I got a deal and I dislike the clutter of an above ground lift in a small garage. I realize that's not very practical for most.

Super cool! I was waiting to hear this story after I saw that you had found the previous owner history. Thanks for taking the time to tell us about it. Can't wait to hear and see more!

I put Dynamat under the carpet in my 68 5 years ago. It deadens the sound and vibrations a bit and makes the car "feel" a little more solid. Car still gets hot inside.

Someone had painted mine Grecian green years ago and I really liked it. Don't see that color too often.

I sold a 68 210hp non relief valve pump with pulley, diverter and brackets, early take-off survivor quality for about $125 on Ebay 2 years ago. Had left side tube by itself that I had to give away.

I never really knew him but I'll never forget when I called Bud on the phone a few years back to talk about the Camaro Nationals.

Me: "Hi Bud, do you have a minute to talk about Camaros?"
Bud: "There is ALWAYS time to talk about Camaros!"

I used Legendary unassembled panels on my 68 and I found them to be very nice. I'm pretty sure they make them in house. I have no experience with other manufacturers though.

I've used SEM also for changing white door panels to black and had great results. I did use the prep and adhesion promoters.

X3 (don't run it anymore)
Remove and disassemble the engine and see how bad it is.
Is it the original 327? 210hp or 275hp?
