Restoration / STANDARD INT WITH DELUXE SEAT BELTS

my 67 has a 760Z standard black int but the trim tag says 5Y for deluxe belts,why would that combo go out the door?you would think a deluxe int would be in the car.just courious.

Which side did the factory stamp the vin numbers on the muncie trans in 1967? The trans date code on mine is stamped on the pass side and the vin is stamped on the drivers side.anyone know if this is correct?Pic attached is pass side date code

Im trying to find the dealer code for Medallion Chevrolet Inc of Ware Mass.They are no longer in business and I have tried all dealer code serches.Looks like if im going to get any info it would be off of a build sheet or some other kind of info.My 67 camaro was sold new from this dealer and any info or anyone who might know of someone who worked there during this time would be helpfull.Thanks Ron

Decoding/Numbers / 67 Z/28 master cylinder

My Z has the numbers on the side of the mastercylinder upside down and backwards instead of from left to right right side up going towards the front of the car on the motor side of the master.Anyone else see this?in Jerrys book it shows on the motor side going towards the front of the car right side up.

Back a few years ago rumors were going around about chevy releaseing production,option verification W/ vin numbers like pontiac has done.My question is, is this a dead issue? I havent heard anything for some time.Anyone got any info?
