Currently I have the wrong brake booster on my 69 Z. Should be 9204 but have what looks to be 9364 with a 063 date.


Anybody have any info on brake booster application numbers for other vehicles or where I might find this info?

Well...that doesn't sound too encouraging. Yeah, the picture isn't that great. I'll try to get another one today. When did the re-stamps start showing up? I bought my 06A Z in 2000 and it was in the car. I contacted one of the owners some years ago who had it (car) in 1988 and he got it (distributor 9E14) along with the crankshaft, heads (May 27, June 1) intake, and a service replacement 4053.

This is the best pic I can get with the el-cheapo camera I have. Sorry...kind of blurry, but I'll take a shot. Does it look authentic?

Its been banged up a little at the 1111 numbers but after looking at a few junk distributors I have it doesn't appear to have been tampered with.

has the #532 cam, is dated 9  E14. Is there anything else to look for?

Actually, I was thinking the same thing myself. For years I was under the impression that all chevys rockers were 1.5 ratio. So I guess it is safe to say the .030 clearance is true with 1.5 rockers. I'll give it a go and see what happens.

After reading and re-reading the info about valve adjustment on this site the .030 clearance is too wide for the 30-30 cam with the stock rockers. I understand the reason based on the provided info for the 1.37 stock rocker, but I'm not quite convinced that the clearances in the info are good if 1.5 rockers are used. Anybody?

I have read the info on adjusting the valves many times to see if I am overlooking something but still not understanding it I guess.
If the 30-30 cam with the stock rockers requires a .026 clearance, what should the clearance be with 1.5 rockers. I'm a bit confused on this. Should it be .030? or .026?

Been reading the info posted here for adjusting the rocker clearance on the 30-30 camshaft and was curious to know if the clearances are the same if using roller tip 1.50 rockers?

How wide is the Camaro 12 bolt backing plate to backing plate? I measured mine at approximately 53". Is this correct?

Also, I have a 8.5 10 bolt posi that measures approximately 56" backing plate to backing plate. Could this be for Chevelle possibly? Or 70's Camaro? I have this coil spring 8.5 10 bolt with a traction lock posi (based on info I received from BIGGEARHEAD last year) that I have no idea what it belongs to. Been surfing the web since 3 AM this morning trying to find info on it, but kept coming up facing a stone wall. I can't tell if it's a dated 69 unit or a 79 unit. Posi unit works fine. Based on the date of the differential H 15 9 and the carrier 410409 N dated H 2 9 and the ring gear part # 1 GM 1252065 17 41 dated 9 79 I can't tell if I'm coming or going. The passenger side tube has what may be a 7 but only has the bottom leg then KA   G267  1. I sure could use some help on this. I plan on just selling the posi unit but if the housing is a good needed housing I would rather see it go to someone that needs it.
