If you get a few different magnets and do some fishing around you should get it out with no problem. Goodluck.
2  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Decoding/Numbers / 67 RS wheel well mouldings ? on: April 14, 2009, 12:42:50 PM
I have been looking at these since 1977 seeing they will never be going on my car. Part #s 9785880, 9785881, 4229494, 4229493. I believe they are RS. If so what are they worth? Thanks.

Didn't they stamp the trans the same time as the block?  If so wouldn't those same  627 #s would be on the trans as well.
4  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Dumb Question about a Cowl Trim Tag For Sale on: January 25, 2009, 11:13:16 AM
They list all those SS RS 396 427 Muncie in the ad so it will pull up in more searches. At least the body # is not blocked out so it will be on record. That tag will probably be back on ebay on a "REAL 69Z" in the future.  If it is for sale on a car in the future hopefully somebody will catch it and steer the new prospective  owner to this thread.

Part #s 4229493, 4229494, 9785880, 9785881 are these RS?  If so what is the difference and what are they worth? Thanks. Leo.

10  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / 69 Camaro wheel well mouldings $$$ needed on: February 27, 2008, 04:14:17 PM
After refusing to pay $400 a set 2 years ago and watching them go up i bought 2 sets from an ad on Camaro Tech for $600 a set. Well, good old UPS crushed the box and wouldn't you know of the 2 damaged ones,  you guessed it the RIGHT REAR was one. I need 2 estimates for insurance reasons. I printed out Heartbeat Citys for  $750 a set.  Anybody know of another company selling a set I can print out with the price on it.. Thanks. Leo.
11  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / 69 eliptical antenna on: February 22, 2008, 08:43:03 AM
I've seen eliptical antennas with a eliptical tip on the end or a round tip on the end. Which is correct for a 69 camaro? Thanks.

The more I look at the KE it does not seem to match  the other 5 digits.  I have a 19" LCD flat screen monitor and if I play with the resolution it looks like the 2 arms on the K are different and the E was an F with the bottom line added.
15  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / 69 seat belts on: October 31, 2007, 05:08:08 PM
Which cars came with black and which ones came with polished metal. On the average what is the leeway between date of manufacture of belt and build date of car. Also are there a few specific dates or did they always produce them with a bunch of different dates. Thanks.
