Inline tube sells a ket as well - not sure how many sides is the adhesive, but it looks to be the most correct stuff

Orig stacks have a flat silver paint on the base inside the stack area....I have several old nos ones that shows this......

the BB rod does not have the significant bend in the rod vs the SB one.....must be the angle of the dangle :-)

Good info - also - some of the rods have numbers on them ans so do not (for some reason).  Anyone know why not all rods are stamped?

I have several sets of orig shifter rods and they are done both ways as the lock out rod - I have found this for both BB and SM muncie

the washer on the end of the shock is staked on....might look like a weld, but I believe it is staked.  I have several sets of orig shocks and they all the same - staked as in the third pic.

Lloyd - yes I agree - I do have this or the R89 in the car as we speak..(.have to check)....related to the color - the repro is red - what do u think, paint it yellow?

Im still confused on the color scheme and does the letters get painted as well as the caps?

If that pic is org achieves, look at the heat riser position....there has been much discussion on this from the point of what is the correct position.
