Camaro Billy, which judging class?  I think there is one Thur. and another fri.  Don't forget to be in the stadium for the race car certification Fri. at 11:00 AM . The race cars do not have to drive onto the show field Sat. so they have to prove they run by making 2 laps on Fri. If you've never seen it it pretty cool. Last year Bruce Larson had to make laps with Tommy Ivo's dragster.

And the word "survivor" is copywrighted. Don't try to use it in an advertisement for your car, without permission.
319  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Fake '68 Z28 Convertible article in Hemming's Muscle Machines on: August 16, 2008, 08:56:14 PM
Only haveing seen the car in the magazine it is truely beautiful. He is very clear about it being fake, I have no problem wiith that. BUT, why didn't they do an article on the real Z-28 convertible? hemming's Muscle Car is one of the best mags out there, but I wish they would do articles on REAL cars not clones.

Claus, German cars had  black dashboards and steering wheels. I wonder if these were colored for the European market? I aslo see an air conditioner condensor, but no air unit?

Jerry, thanks for the update. Will you have it at the York Reunion this year? The first '67  Z I remember was a mountain green one at York US 30.
323  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Camaro Nationals '08 on: April 27, 2008, 09:58:25 PM
I just saw an advertisement in The Auto Locator for the Camaro Nat'ls in June. It has no referance as to where they are held!? I know where, just wondering why the ad doesn't say it. Anyone??  Huh

The 10th Annual Camaro Nationals are held within the GM Nationals at Carlisle 6/20-22 . Click on the link http://www.americancamaro.org/nationals.php
I completely understand where the event is held. What I don't understand is there is NO referancee to where in the ad.

Can't answer about others, but mine is 4N, 325hp T400 from new.

How about the radiator?? It would have cooling lines??
327  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: 1967 BB transmission on: April 06, 2008, 03:56:34 PM
Not sure if there were any telltale holes or wires that might help you ID it. I know my car from new so I know what it once was. Maybe someone else will chime in? Being raced it may not have the original rear end to help ID.
328  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Originality / Re: 1967 BB transmission on: April 06, 2008, 07:31:01 AM
There were 1453 T400s built in '67. The 396 325 was the onlly engine to get a T400. Could not get a powerglide with the BB. My MArch 325hp does not designate the transmisssion on the trim tag either. Wouldn't be a bench seat column shift car would it??
329  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Lowest 67 VIN? on: March 13, 2008, 08:39:37 PM
That car is advertised in nat'l car rag, like Aiuto Exchange. I think I remember it being a RS convertible. It's on the cover.
OK, I looked again. It's in AutaBuy Feb. issue. It is a red RS coupe just like the numbers say. My memory is off, working too much lately. The same issue also has a '64 Pontiac Banshee , if you have a million and a half.
