Any plans to show it in AACA race car class, Jon? Hershey would be a good place, hint hint.

What shows here is the wedge shape of the front fenders. They would almost act like a spoiler themselves. I've not seen the cars from this angle before.

He said there was a BB z28 in town for years in a garage.

You are correct about the spinners.
20  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Round 2: Going to see a '68 Z/28 - Need some help w/pics on: December 20, 2014, 02:26:44 PM
If it is a real teal LL car it would be a rare one. The color as said before looks like Lemans blue.  I had a LL Z-28.

I don't know the story, but if he had speculation before imagine it now that he has THE block. All the experts will know it's a restamp. GOOD for you, RonnieJ!! Wish someone would have my original block.

I would not use gaskets, the General didn't.
24  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Decoding/Numbers / Re: 396-375 H.P. JJ CODE ? on: December 10, 2014, 02:52:48 PM
I'm NO expert, but the two J's seem to be from different stamp sets in that picture. One's fatter and one's longer. Besides not being in line as everyone seems to think they should be.
25  Camaro Research Group Discussion / Restoration / Re: Flash Chrome - Recommendations for a reputable shop? on: December 05, 2014, 10:53:18 AM
Flash chrome is just nickle and chrome, no copper as you say. The covers can rust just like the originals do. But the mirror finish is in the polishing. You MAY want to get the triple plating for rust protection but tell them you want to rough finish to duplicate the factory finish. Seriously, it may be more difficult then show chrome.
26  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: This Pic got me thinking.. on: December 03, 2014, 10:23:17 AM
I'm not completely up to speed on the PTB stamps. I understood them to be a rubber type stamp, not a stencil. So how does the P on the passenger side get backwards?
27  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Anyone heard of Mod top added to 25 th. Z28? on: November 23, 2014, 01:39:43 PM
Remembering the Mopar ModTops I kind of like it, but not the body color ralleys.

Have him solder the 1/8 holes shut.
29  Camaro Research Group Discussion / General Discussion / Re: Going to Hershey? on: October 12, 2014, 07:36:11 AM
Hopefully the owner will read this and post a few. It looked fantastic when it was dry, yellow, vinyl roof 396 350 hp.

Thank you for the compliment. This week lasts forever and is over in a flash. Did not get to hook up, sorry. I was pleasantly surprised to see so many cars on the show field, I honestly thought with the rain It might be slim. Phil, I hope you can post pics of the yellow '68 Camaro, it was excellent.
